Fantastic breakfast/brunch/lunch spot! Everything is well priced and tastes great, the staff is super friendly and quick, the... restaurant is clean and not super noisy. It's a very calm and relaxing place to eat at. My only issue is the parking is a bitdifficult and I do hope the nearby meters can get upgraded to use cards instead of just coins so I don't need to try and fishchange around my home or car if I wanna park closer when going to eat here(otherwise I park like 2-3 blocks away to eat here). I order from this place via Postmates all the time, but for Mother?s Day, I decided to take my mom & daughter to try it in the... restaurant. I was not disappointed! The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was beautiful and the food was AMAZING as always. I amOBSESSED with the Eggs Benedict. I don?t think it can get any better than that. My mom got the Healthy Omelet (with full egginstead of just whites) and my daughter got the Nutella Crepe. I highly recommend going in here and enjoying the fullexperience. I?ll still order via Postmates when I need to, but coming in is going to become more of a thing for myself and mydaughter. Thanks to the staff for doing so well on a crazy Mother?s Day morning. First time, so pleasant, I'll return, even though it's not that close to me. Katie was our waitress and she was attentive,... helpful just all around good natured. My lunch was yummy, I had their signature Burger. It comes with a small salad and as achoice I picked the french fries since Katie said they were delicious and she was right. My friends had the quiche lorraine andthe eggs benedict and they ate every last bite ????. Our total bill was about $90 and that also included lattes for everyone andtwo croissants and a side of fruit that we ordered share at the table. I love The Creamy Spoon! The mimosa carafe is appropriately priced, and well mixed. The food never disappoints. I am a picky... eater, and I am still extremely satisfied with whatever i order. The customer service is always courteous and matches theambiance. Check the website/menu to get an idea if what ti expect. But I recommended this place 100% *As a final note, i alwayswalk here. If you're driving, there is parking close by, but nothing immediately in front of the cafe. Read more
Try the creamy Spoon special latte, very good. I had the croques salmon madame and it was a bit too cheesey and heavy for my... taste, I will order a dish with more vegetables next time. Also tried the quishe Lorraine and it was the same, kind of heavy.The potatoes and salad that came with the dishes were very good. Potatoes were crisp outside and soft inside and seasoned well.Waiter only checked on our table once and took a long time to get the check though but I liked the French decor, I felt veryFrench. Delicious French Bistro with way more offerings than we first thought. We chose brunch and ordered one Benedict with Salmon and... one with spinach. The Hollandaise was exactly the right amount just covering the egg with little spill over. Most interestingwas the Brioche bread cut into english muffin size circles. A very unique and tasty choice. They came with rosemary potatoesthat were perfectly crispy on the outside and completely soft inside! All dishes came with a salad as well. Our other guest hada salmon crepe and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had a Mimosa each that complemented our breakfast perfectly. Servers werealways kind and checked on everyone very often. The menu even had Escargot and Filet Mignon that we will come back for soon. Great Glendale location off of Broadway less than a mile from the Americana. Just without the crazy amount of people. We wenton a Saturday around 11 and the small dining room was mostly full but still had a few tables and it never felt crowded. Middlerange prices. The filet was the most expensive at $37 which is a pretty good deal imo. Our bill came to $80 for 3 people with 2coffees that were amazing and the 2 Mimosas plus three entrees that averaged $17 each and were good portions but not too much.
