Well let's say yesterday West Gate was really dead before 5:00 p.m on Saturday I was surprised so many places have closed down... or under construction. Lola was actually the only restaurant really doing business. I've been here once before with a crowd fora brunch event. This time we just sat, had a few beers outside and then went inside to a cooler area. The atmosphere inside isnothing special. The chairs are sunken in, raggedy and uncomfortable. The service is very good thank you kudos. Since we werethere for a while we decided to order salads. I ordered the avocado salad with shrimp. He ordered the chicken Caesar. The saladswere delicious the only issue that we both had was the excessive salad dressing. The salad dressing was so excessive that itdrowned the vegetables in the salad. I love salad so I like to taste my vegetables. Manager please encourage whoever is makingthe salads to pay close attention to how much salad dressing they apply to the salad before sending it out. The chefs board was very good! The pineapple and watermelon drinks would absolutely get again. The ceviche didn’t have much... heat but was good overall. The toast. This place is soo cute but service was slow especially for a non-busy weekday. Happy to see somewhat healthy brunch options. A... little pricey but would come back. Pregnant so I had a virgin mojito and it’s was fire ???? (so damn good). If you’revisiting the area I would recommend. Read more
I’ve been to The Lola twice now for Taylor Swift themed brunches and they’ve been amazing!! The drinks, food, atmosphere and... the creativity behind these brunches are so good.
