Walk over from the kids dentist office next door and got Terrible service from Mya and co-worker. Waited outside closed window... for a few minutes which felt like 20, while they glanced up at us hoping we would leave. Thought they were closed for a sec itwas 6pm until reading hours were until 9pm. We asked to sample a flavor and then a second when she responded "will you bewanting any more samples so I don't have to walk back and forth" . With the attitude to match. This establishment is 5 stars ALL THE WAY!!! I asked for more pie chips (because I absolutely love them) in my custard and they... put an absolute ton in there!! Their brownies are served hard and cold (tasted old) when I ask for a brownie Sunday, they did not bother to warm it up like... most ice cream shops do. Ice cream is good. Rita?s is amazing. Everything there is great! Going there a long time NEVER A PROBLEM UNTIL TODAY?.! Went to union hills... location, I did not have to wait in any line. I ordered a large half watermelon half lemonItalian ice and asked for it to betopped with a swirl of gelato on top. The total was $13.00! I asked why so much the girl behind the counter charged me for aseparate gelati ( large one!).. told her cancel the gelati, Rita?s normally will top with a swirl of gelato free. Went to Rita's for the first time. I got a small Oreo milkshake and it was great. There's lots of options to choose from on the... menu. I went on a Monday afternoon when it wasn't crowded and got in and out fast. Parking is limited since it shares locationswith some medical facilities. There also aren't many places to sit and eat for those that might want to. When I went, there wasonly one person working which could become an issue when it's packed. But for my time there I had no complaints and wouldrecommend. Read more

They are not selling frozen custard! Their business is very misleading. The product they sell is the exact same thing that... Costco sells in its food court. This is soft serve ice cream and has nothing to do with frozen custard. If you ate frozencustard once in your life, you know that it is very dense and it is served with hard plastic spoons so you can scoop it. Theygave me a flimsy thin plastic spoon and that moment i know i was not getting frozen custard. This business is doing falseadvertisement, misleading people and the ice cream soft serve they sell is not frozen custard. In Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale andnear by areas, your best bet is Culver's if you are looking to eat *real frozen custard*. Again, they are selling soft serve icecream, not frozen custard! This place is excellent! They change their ice flavors slightly every day but the ones we ordered are apparently there most of... the time. I ordered a Mango Gelati which is Italian ice layered in with their frozen custard. Their frozen custard deserves asentence of its own in this review. It is the most unique, smoothest, most delicious frozen custard I think I've ever hadanywhere. I like mango, so the ice was great as well and paired very nicely. My wife ordered the four ices with custard on topas pictured (sorry it's smashed, I had a lid on it). Her ice flavors were: Lemon, Cherry Limade, Pumpkin Pie Cream, and Mango, Ibelieve. I sampled all of them and they were all good. The price is a little more than a scoop at traditional ice cream shop,but in my opinion, well worth it! I got great service and a toothsome treat.
