Just picked up lunch. Got the P4. Noodles are hard and the meatballs taste like they've gone bad. I am in love with this Pho spot! Been coming to this restaurant for over 3 years now and we can't seem to get enough!The staff... are awesome and make sure that everyone is taken care of, even when they are short staffed! Everytime we come to Pho Avina, theyalready know what we're going to order lol. Order of Spring Rolls and either a P8 or P5, one with no onion. The pho is so yummydelish and is a craving I get quite often because of this joint! Keep up the great work and thank you! Read more
I intended to try pho for the first time, however when we walked in, there weren't any clear signs of what to do. No host, no... order here signs, and when we walked up to the counter where an employee was and asked her what we should do, sit or wait to beseated, we got ignored. I still gave it chance by sitting and looking at the menu but we sat for about 15 minutes and we'renever greeted. We were very confused and decided to leave without trying anything. Only leaving a negative review based on the inaccurate times they state that they close. I understand that a customer coming in... at 7:55 is frustrating, but all I wanted to order was a boba and the gentleman yelled as I entered. The door hadn?t even shutbehind me ?sorry, we are closed? please state on your door that you close at 7:50 instead of 8 cause you were clearly closingmuch earlier than the time I entered. Read more
I was extremely happy with the freshness of the spring rolls, and the portion sizes for amazing. This is a family restaurant and... it feels like what you would expect if you were sitting down at their dining room table I was extremely happy with my choice todine here. This was amazing place to eat! I would highly recommend eating here. We had the shrimp fried rice and pho with tofu and shrimp... with vegetable broth. Both were amazing and this place might have one of the best fried rice I've ever tasted. Also, even thoughit was pretty busy (lunch hours), the waitress was on top of it and was truly amazing with all her tables from what I could see.Highly recommend to stop and grab a bite! The only thing I would say is that in both dishes, there was only a couple of shrimp,like maybe 3-5 per dish. Not terrible, but for the serving size of the dish it was not a lot. I would just keep your order toanything besides the shrimp because I'm sure it will taste just as great and you don't have to pay the extra price. Read more
This is a lovely Pho restaurant. Pleasant staff, great food, and amazing Thai tea! We ordered the dinner sized Pho and it was... enough for two, definitely had leftovers. I'm thinking maybe next time I'll just order the smaller portion. But so worth it,absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Read more
There are a couple of things I can say about this Viet Cong restaurant. One, Poor and bad service from a young female waitress... with no knowledge of goodwill and repeat customer service attitude. I asked for a spoon but was argued upon 2x and turned down.She argued not to give an extra spoon and was told to use the soup spoon because I ordered the PHO !!! The spoon was for mydaughter to use. Two, I ordered a PHO, plate of pork rice (Com Thit Nung) meaning rice pork she gave us bowl of pork noodlesand my other order was an egg roll order. Simple orders. For this, I was charged for $55 . What a highway robbery!!! You can'targue because there is no price list with there menu that was presented during order taking. (The Black menu). The workers hereis either not used to giving good customer service for the local area or they are just uncultured recent transplant that broughttheir bad manners and uncultured order taker style from where they came from. I do not recommend this Viet Cong restaurant forbad service , Bad English and overcharging gimmick like the other Viet Cong restaurants in other states,countries or Vietnam ! Read more
