The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly. The food was tasty with the steak fajita. The vegetables could have... been sautéed/roasted a bit longer. The corn tortilla was a bit tough. The green chili sauce was great. Our server was greatwith refills in the crowded room she definitely earned the tip we gave. The rest of the food was great, according to my guest.I would come back. This is a great place to relax for lunch or dinner. Lots of parking and well lit. Great menu, easy to read and meduim priced.... Big portions and great chips and salsa at your table once you sit. The service has always been great and servers always nice and attentative. Food and drinks never disappoint. This is our go-to... spot when we hangout with family. We never wait long for a table and food to come out. It does get busy here so be aware of thator you won't find parking. Prices are extremely reasonable. Keep it up guys! You are always great ???? If there is one negative thing I can say about this place it is that my meal was so big that I had no room for the Flan dessert... I was looking forward to trying ???? First of shout out to our waitress Elena. From the moment we sat down she was charming,tentative and funny. Her customers service skills are on point! We got two choices of salsa, hot and regular. As it turned outthe hot salsa was perfect for my husband while the regular was perfect for me. I will be honest and say that Don Cucos andLacasina (for those that are from LA/Ventura county) have better salsa but this is getting there. I wanted something small andlight since I was not that hungry so I got the Tortilla soup thinking it would just be cup sized. Oh boy was I wrong! You get ahuge plate and so much meat! Definitely worth the money. Spicy enough so that you feel it, but not overpowering. There was noway I could finish it, and believe me I tried. We needed to find a spot for dinner near GCC and boy did we ever. This is the spot you are looking for. We didn't think much of... it for going on a Thursday night. The parking lot was packed. We knew we found a great restaurant. The wait was as long as youwould have thought for a full parking lot. The service was friendly. Food is good and fresh. Servers do need Customer service update on what is proper to say to customers. The younger were more... respectful then the older . Our waiter was joking to much and came about rude and lent her thoughts on how much I ordered andtried to make fun of the amount of food I was ordering on my Anniversary dinner but our server Martha who was older was veryvery respectful and prompt. I tipped her I wish I could gave her more because she was way better than the one who took myorder. I took pictures of my food. I like to over order in my food to take food home the next day .
