So where to begin... my wife and I wanted to grab a burger in our neighborhood, so we decided to try Heroes for the first time.... We were politely greeted by someone serving a table as we walked in. She advised that we could sit anywhere. We found a boothand ended up waiting 15 mins before a server came to our table. No menus but the drink menu next to the napkin dispenser. Theserver seemed distracted right off the bat. She asked what we wanted to drink and took our orders and said she would bringmenus. 10 mins go by and a lady in a suit jacket "maybe the manager" asked if we needed menus and if we needed drinks. Yes, andyes. Another 5-10 minutes go by, and our server brings our drinks, says "here you go" and off she went again. No "would you likean appetizer?" or "any questions about the menu". At this point, we've now been here for 30 mins and we only have a wayer and abeer, and that's it. The server finally comes to take our order. Which came out quickly, but was just ok. We both got burgerswith sweet potato fries. The burgers were kinda small for the price, and both the burgers and fries were barely warm. Overall,it wasn't the worst experience I've had in a restaurant. We just felt like it didn't matter to them that we were there. They hada handful of people there that seemed to be "regulars", and maybe that's enough to keep them open for business. But from ourexperience they are not trying very hard to get new customers. This spot is in walking distance of our house, and is our new taco Tuesday go to. They have pork, Carne, or chicken that has a... little kick. You can choose flour or corn tortillas and can also add extras like lettuce and cheese & we love to get them fullyloaded. The employees we see every Tuesday are Brandy and Kyle and they are both outstanding! We are super happy to havestumbled across this place and will continue to make it our taco Tuesday go to! They have other nights with karaoke, trivia andsometimes live music as well. Read more

Ever since the new ownership took over,this place has gone downhill. Service is not great. I used to go all the time now maybe... 2/3 times a year. Tonight the bartender asked me to make sure my check was correct which I thought was strange. I couldn'treally see it in the dark but it looked ok. After paying, we looked at it again and realized they charged us 1 beer too many. Wementioned this to the bartender who didn't seem to care and just kind of blew us off. We asked another staff member and shedidn't do anything about it....so we erased the tip. Went there on veterans day a couple years ago. Had my Navy vet hat on at abar called hero's that cater to our military. Not one word was mentioned to me about being a vet and zero food or drunkspecials. Learn to take care of your customers. This is my sincere opinion. To the owner: I know you have been through difficult times lately. Sincerely, I am truly sorry for... this. My review only intention is to be honest. I will suggest to take in consideration my opinion. My only intention is to helpyour business, by, just being honest. I will start talking about the positive. Your beer menu is really nice. Now my opinion.The food you offer is mediocre to put it in the best way possible. Nachos were awful. Few pieces of cold refrigerator meat.Seriously, l meany it, just few. Cheese was really bad.... Well, l really don't want to continue, so l will try to make itquick. It was the worst l have ever had in my life. Seriously. My husband Reuben sandwich was mediocre, as well. French fries,double zeroes for points. Both dishes are extremely easy to improve. I haven't tried anything else in your menu list, but, forsure, are my experience, l have not willingness to do so. Your place needs to be clean. This, as well, is cheap to do. Changeyour food. Expect, only the the best for your business and clients, and the people will love your place. We will comeback overand over. Advertise if your place has changed for better and l will be the first to give you another chance. I truly wish younothing but the best. I just wanted to be honest. If you are expecting good service, this is DEFINITELY not the place to go. Three of us waited 15 minutes to even get a server,... mind you there was only about 35 people in the bar. We had to wait for our food 30 minutes as there is only 1 cook. They aredefinitely understaffed. The food was ok. Won't be back. Read more

Good food and pleasant staff. I love their dedication to our military! We went on a Saturday night for dinner and I really liked... the fact that the music wasn't real loud. You could actually hold a conversation! I will definitely go back! Read more
