2nd time 10/7/22: Starting to become my top pick for Indian cuisine. Had a lunch portion of the chicken tiki marsala. It was... really good. The chicken was more moist than the last time I had the rice and salad and the garlic naan bread as well, which areall very good. 1st time: Ordered tiki marsala chicken, rice, garlic naan bread. It was good, but the chicken needs to be cut insmaller pieces because it was a little dry. Lunch prices $12 not bad Read more

I love Indian food. However, imho, this is not authentic. The chicken tikka was sweet. The lamb vindaloo tasted much better with... large chunks of lamb that were very tender. The tandoori chicken was so strange. More like a tandoori flavored bbq chicken. Inother words, an Americanize version of tandoori chicken. It was covered in a sweet sauce. Not a fan. The service was great! Iwon?t be going back due to, imho, the authenticity. Read more

This place is decent. There?s plenty of seating and the service was excellent. They kept checking in on us throughout our meal.... We got the manchurian which was absolutely delicious. We also got the masala fries which were really good too. The malai koftawas okay, maybe we should?ve gotten it spicier but we weren?t sure how spicy the medium would be. The naan seemed thinner thanusual naan I?ve had at other places but it?s probably not a bad thing. Read more

Haldi Indian Cuisine is literally the best food I've had in Arizona in a long time. At the Glendale, AZ location, Sam Haldi... (owner) not only is at the establishment, but is there supporting his staff, greeting guests, and makes you feel like youentered his home! The food is very fresh, never greasy, and always delicious! Personally, the Paneer Butter Marsala I thoughwould have been my favorite but the Lamb Korma was DELICIOUS! All good was very good and the house cocktails pared great withthe meal. The Marsala Margarita the perfect drink and to go with my meal. Haldi is clean, well kept and managed, and theatmosphere is simple but inviting! Don't pass up on this hidden gem if your in either Glendale, or Surprise AZ! Read more

Indian food is our favorite. We were excited to find Haldi, an Indian restaurant, tucked in the southeast corner of Union Hills... and 59th Ave. next to the Kick Boxing gym. Chicken korma is one of our standards when trying a new restaurant. It wasn?t on themenu but they were happy to make it with dark meat as requested. Although not the best I?ve ever had, it was still tasty. Bothof us really enjoyed the Butter Chicken, our other tasting standard. It was savory, creamy and balanced. I love dry thin naan,Mr. Obi Wan likes puffy moist naan. I was pleased with the naan while he liked the korma better than I did. The Tandoori chickentikka pleased both of us. Mango lassi and mango juice rounded out the meal, both were delicious. The place had a very urbanfeel, our server was friendly and offered his advice very kindly. The service and food were great. Full bar and clean bathrooms. We give it two Thumbs Up ???????? (inside joke to anyone who knows Indian sodas) Read more

I had been curious about this place. The Naan bread was absolutely delicious. There was an upgrade option to add other... ingredients to the bread. I chose garlic. The lunch portion came with a salad but there was no dressing. The chicken was alittle too overcooked which made it dry and the curry was okay. The pastries was delicious and the dipping sauces were a perfectpairing. Not returning any time soon. Read more

We have been to Haldi a few times since it opened and it has been wonderful each time. Sam the owner was very gracious with my... lack of knowledge of Indian cuisine and helped us to learn what we might like. Butter Chicken is the standard and their versionis delicious. We had the Gulab Jamun over rice Kheer for dessert and it was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit already. Read more

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant! We ordered the lamb rogan josh and madras chicken curry. The flavor and spices and... blended beautifully. We ordered it medium which I?m sure was still on the lower end of heat but it still had a kick. You tasteall the flavors and spice before the heat kicks in. It was delicious! Will be back again soon.
