More expensive but worth it. Fresh and large portions. Great staff.

Clean and tidy with friendly enough staff. Always welcoming, and usually an Arizona sports team on the tv when I go in. The food... is always as I order and never a let down. Read more

This place has really gone down hill. I remember they used to greet you ?welcome to firehouse!? Super loud everytime and now... it?s like a mumble if anything. Most of the time they say nothing. The lady taking my order just stood there until I came up,didn?t say like, ?I can help you right here when your ready!? I said hello, and she said nothing, then I order and she tells methe total that?s it. No customer service skills whatsoever. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the food is really good. My second time coming here because my boyfriend is obsessed and the service was pretty terrible besides one (blonde hair) boy;... he was a gem! I didn?t know if I could build my own sub and as I was asking that gentlemen some questions a taller girl withbrown hair was complaining loudly about how they were about to close and we shouldn?t be coming in to order. They made mysandwich hot and I wanted to double check it wasn?t and again she complains about remaking it. I?ve worked in the industry for11 years, many of them managing and was unimpressed with the level of professionalism shown. It?s 9PM, not 2AM. People willalways come in last second. It?s your job so enjoy it or go. Felt so bad for the sweet guy and any other stuff that may havefelt her wrath. Read more

This has been our go-to sub shop since they opened, but the last 4 orders (yes, all 4) have all taken forever to make and 3 out... of the 4 were made incorrectly. After getting home and finding that we did not get what we ordered, the response from theperson who answered the phone was infuriating. I asked to speak with the manager and she said she was the manager, and offeredonly a very lackadaisical "sorry the sub wasn't up to your standard". Not up to my standard? The sub wasn't even the sub Iordered! She did tell me to bring it back, like I really wanted to stop what I was doing and I drive back there. It's veryfrustrating as Firehouse Subs is not an inexpensive takeout like Subway and, honestly, Subway treats their customers better. Their food isn't better but it is no longer worth the aggravation to go to Firehouse. I do have a recommendation for uppermanagement though. It appeared to us that you may have a problem with orders walking out the door. The young girl who came inand called out she was picking up for Uber Eats or Door Dash (we don't remember which) grabbed 2 bags without even looking atthem, and couldn't get out the door fast enough, generating side looks from behind the counter and an offer to us of a freedrink for how long we had to wait for our order. I could tell they knew what we saw. It's a shame this is happening withFirehouse Subs. Read more

First time at this location; I haven't actually been to this shopping center, in like a decade, but glad to come back, & see... what's around! It's a bit hard to see the shop, from the street, if you've never been, but it's on the left/NW side of the 99¢store. There's many entrance points into the center/parking lot, from 67th Ave, but some left turn restrictions, from 3-6pmM-F, so be careful on that. Lots of parking, both in front of the shop & in the general lot. It's very clean outside & inside, smells fresh & like food, but not overwhelming. I arrived late, after 8pm; they close at 9pm, but all 3 staff members werefriendly still, helpful, & quick. I like how you can opt to round the cents up on your order, to donate to local firefighters, which I did, opt for. There's lots of seating, all tables & chairs, w/ 2 chair, 4 chair, & a barstool table, options; thetables are movable too, in case you need more seating, for bigger parties. The drink/accessories area was organized & veryclean. On our way out, one of the guys helped by opening the door, for my mom & I, while all 3 staff, wished us a goodnight! Now that I know where this shop is, I shall be returning, quite often!! This location, is just as high quality, as anyother locale, in any other part of the valley!!! Oh yeah, I got the, Firehouse Meatball large sub, medium drink, & a browniecombo, + rounded up the cents, for: $16.00. Great deal, for hot deliciousness Read more

My wife ordered and paid online. I got there about 10 minutes early and my order hadn't been started yet. I was told it would be... 5 or 6 minutes so I sat down next to the pickup counter. 15 minutes later I noticed that almost everyone there had left and evensome people that ordered after I sat down had gotten their food and left. It was so slow, the employee that told me to wait hadstocked the chips shelf twice. Something wasn't right with that picture so I got up and went to the pickup counter where I foundthis greasy bag with my receipt on it. I don't know how long it had been there but my sandwich was soggy when I got home Read more
