I came here on Halloween with my 12 yr old daughter, my husband and my 1 yr old son... and we had a less than great visit there... was a issue.. yet even with that being said the food tasted amazing and the atmosphere was nice despite said issue now whatfollowed after bringing the issue up to upper management and even higher up was what will make me come back let's just say thestaff here takes care of the customers issues at hand I felt that Martha and Cristal and a male manager went above and beyondtrying to rectify the problem that to me is superb customer service ???? congrats on this establishment having those 3 on boardwill definitely return and recommend this place to others I would give 5 stars but I feel that my initial experience warrantsthe 4 stars I've given ...keep up the great work and amazing food...gotta try the menudo soon so maybe see me this weekend ornext. This place is awesome!! The chips and salsa was excellent! The chips were light and crispy and the salsa was made on the spot... and very good. The food is to die for and service was also excellent. They have a special for every day of the week. I went ontostada Thursday and Fajita Friday. Very large portions so be careful on how much you order but the leftovers was just as good.I highly recommend this place as you will not be disappointed at all. Not a 5 due to service provided by the waitress Humana (i might be spelling it wrong) she walked up to the table and said would... you like something to drink no greeting, so we spoke, asked would she be our waitress and her name. Ordered chicken fajitas andlime margaritas the margarita was to sweet and it has to be made in the kitchen area because there is no bar and she came fromthe kitchen with it. The fajitas and sides were very good. We asked Humana for limes it took her about 10 min to bring them whenour food came we asked for salsa and she never brought it she did however go sit at the back table and started rollingsilverware she never checked on us after the food came out we reminded her about the salsa when she brought the bill and shejust smiled. This is a very nice family owned restaurant. It is in Old Glendale and across from the park. Lots of seating and great... atmosphere. Easy menu and medium priced. Food is great and very filling. They do have a drink menu. They have pick up aswell. Kid friendly. Highly recommended. Read more
The street tacos are excellent! Unfortunately the tamale was in the oven too long. Our waitress was brand new, so I told her she... should take the tamale back to the kitchen and show it to the cook. She said she would, but apparently the cook was notconcerned. I would have given five stars if I hadn?t ordered the tamale. Read more
By far the best authentic Mexican food restaurant I?ve been to in a LONG time!! Food was savory, fresh and absolutely... delicious!! I ordered the gallina pinta and it reminded me of my childhood. I have to give kudos to the staff because thewaitresses were pleasant, attentive and came off so happy to be at work. Thank you Don Juan?s for a delicious brunch andoverall welcoming experience.
