I ordered the Vegan Burrito and they didn?t put the guacamole. It?s very frustrating when it?s their job to know what goes in... their burrito and you get home and it?s not completely what you paid for and even left a takeout tip. Also, the lids for theircups (for salsa) wouldn?t stay on. I kept trying and trying and it wouldn?t seal. I finally got two on and asked the lady if Icould just have one of the smaller containers because of the issue and she said she would charge me for it! She sent anotherwoman to help me and she had the same issue but didn?t try to rectify it so I left with the few I could get on. Good food, butobviously I expect what I paid for as advertised. Bless the salsa fresca bar for saving a flavorless meal. It takes a special skill to turn freshly made food into something that... tastes more like cafeteria steamer tray fare, but they somehow managed it and it made me sad since I wanted so much to like thishomey little spot with a cute thatched roof bar (unfortunately only bottled beer but the margaritas did look great). The cashierwas busy on the phone and should've at least given some eye contact acknowledgment that she'd be with us shortly but it was asthough we weren't even standing there waiting to place our orders. In contrast, another woman was busily cleaning off the tablesand helping people at the trash who were trying to place the trays and push open the bin, so we left a generous tip in the jarfor her sake. The sides of rice and beans were small and bland, the chicken burrito had nice pieces of chicken but where was aflavorful sauce? The green corn tamales were not in corn husks like in the pictures and were almost all masa with scarcely anycorn to be found. The raspberry tea was dark and over sweetened, but was pleased it wasn't in styrofoam but paper--we need toreduce plastic use, so the tiny little plastic cups at the salsa bar should also be switched over to paper. Ample outdoor eatingarea with misters, but right along shopping center entrance so lots of traffic and no plants to add atmosphere or walls tobuffer noise. Plenty of room for improvement overall so am surprised that a local chain with years of experience just didn'twork for me. Read more
It was very empty during lunch. The cashier was no where to eb found and there was a couple in front of us. The cashier... eventually came out and didn't recognize that he had done anything The food was typical. We ordered a carne asada burrito and achicken torta. They charge for refills on fountain drinks. I like the salsa bar, just wish the cups were a bit bigger to holdthe salsa. There were no lids for the beverages. The complimentary chips were bad either. It's definitely fast food and not atable service unless you sit at the bar where you can get some beer. Read more
Stopped by for breakfast while getting my car charged at the Electrify America station next door. I had huevos rancheros which... was delicious. The salsa topping is a nice mix with just a hint of chili powder. Three potatoes and refried beans were evenbetter with the rancheros sauce. The music and atmosphere is great. Not too loud, and the place is very clean. Highlyrecommended. Read more
Had an early morning dentist appointment so decided to stop for breakfast afterward. Ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo.... It was excellent! Ate outside in the morning sun. Will definitely be back with my husband. Read more
