So Ammos is my neighborhood joint. I grab takeout from there all the time. Never had an issue until tonight. So half of my... takeout order was wrong, despite ordering the same thing 2 to 3 times a week. So I called to let them know that they gave mesomeone else's order. The owner said no problem, come back and we'll give you the correct order. So I drove back, alreadyannoyed that they goofed my order. When I get there, the owner asks for the other order back because someone was waiting on it.In other words, Ammos's grill was going to reissue a meal that had already been issued, a clear violation of health codes. Wayto go. You just lost a regular customer. The thought that one of my meals could have been in someone else's possession disgustsme. Fair warning everybody: be cautious when getting takeout from here; it could've already been to someone's house, handled,and perhaps eaten off of, just so the cheapskate owner could save a buck. Good food for a fair price. Enjoyed the Greek salad with gyro meat on top. I recommend this place.

Walked in on a Friday night at 7:05. They were nice about it, but we were informed that after 7 pm their dining room is closed... and they only do takeout. And then they said they ?close at 7:30 and [we?re] out by 8.? Their neon sign says they close at 8 (sodoes Google but I?ve submitted a request to have that changed). I?ve been for lunch before and it?s delicious. Love what theystand for. Very bugged that we couldn?t enjoy a meal at 7:05 and that their hours aren?t correct on the building. Read more

Delicious, friendly staff and best after gym meal!

I recently visited Arizona to see my bff....he took me to this restaurant where we had some amazing chicken gyros. So yummy I... loved it! The man at the front also from my hometown NY brooklyn to be precise????.....was so inviting and sweet. I didnt gethis name but now I wish I did.lol I would definetly come back for that delicious gyro and great service. Read more
