I first had Made in Italy about 6 months ago, and have been there 6 times since, including having my wedding reception dinner in... their speakeasy. I have at least sampled all of their pasta dishes and a few of their chicken dishes and can say that I enjoyedthem all. The Vesuvio, Spaghetti Carbonara, Chicken Manicotti, and Gnocchi were my favorite options, and their desserts arefantastic too! Portions are really generous. Service is nice. Enjoyable place to be on a nice evening; the outdoor seating really is a good... touch. The meatballs aren't meaty, texture is weird since they've been 'whipped' too much--badly overmixed in a machine. (sadbut all to common when cooking en masse) And they're bland----needs something like some peccorino, or anchovypaste.....something. Pretty decent place; pasta is fresh. Fish is good too. Somehow I grew up in Wheaton, only about a mile from this place, and never came here until my mid 40s! And am I glad I finally... did!
