Lovely place and staff. Galbi, soups, japchae were great. Not crazy about the teokbokki. Disturbingly, a big burly douche... started yelling at the wait staff mid dinner, basically didn't want to pay and causing a scene. I felt terrible for the ladieswho were being yelled at by this jagoff. They handled it well though. Police came, made him pay for his meal, escorted him out.Left them a big tip to help cheer the staff up as they really deserved so much better treatment and respect. Food, service waslovely, and all other customers were very appreciative. We'll be back for sure. Read more

Overall a good experience. Came by because of the good reviews, but this place has been a Korean-style Chinese food restaurant... since the 1980?s (different ownership, obviously), but it now serves Korean food as well. For those unfamiliar, Korean-styleChinese food is different from American-style Chinese food. Korean-style is less greasy and more flavorful and definitely betterfor your health in terms of having less fat and sugar, and the ?hot? spices are Korean-based versus Chinese. You won?t find toomuch chili oil or intense Chinese spices used here, which was a plus in my book. Had both the black bean paste noodles (jjangmyeon) and the white broth jjamppong. Both were authentic and delicious, without too much additives that can upset the stomach. The paste and broth were well-balanced and the noodles were perfectly cooked with the right thickness and texture. Theingredients were fresh - vegetables and seafood - and the lunch portion was very generous. The servers were friendly yet nottoo bothering. They answered questions politely, took the order without a hitch, and the food came out relatively quickly andhot. And whenever we asked for more side dishes and water, we didn?t have to wait long. Definitely worth a try. Read more

They deserve a 10 star review! We have never been to this place before. Saw a lot of good reviews, so we gave them a try.... Everything was excellent - food and service! I just randomly selected this place for lunch based on Google ratings. But I'll definitely come back and it's one of those... places that when you don't know where to go or what to do, it's first that comes to your mind! Yeah, the food was that muchgreat! We ordered Beef Hot Stone Bibimbap and LA Kalbi, both were delicious. Before meal they brought us some appetizers as wellwhich were included in the meal. The staff and atmosphere were also very nice. I recommend this place to everyone. Read more

My husband and I just moved to the area and we discovered this gem of a restaurant. In the span of a week, as we were still... slowly unpacking our kitchen, we ate here 3 times. The flavors of everything were spot on and the staff were super friendly andgave good suggestions. The jjampong (not pictured) was great, but VERY spicy (we loved it, but it's definitely not for the faintof heart). I love their grilled meats. The pork belly (not pictured) was very crispy and flavorful and the spicy pork wasmouthwatering. Their assortment of side dishes was slightly different each time we went, but one of the times we asked if theyhad something and they actually did have it on hand and served it to us. The first time we ordered the seafood pancake, it wasreally nice and crispy. The second time was a bit less crispy, but still very delicious. I definitely recommend ordering thatand/or their kangpungi. I LOVED their mul naengmyun. I also had their galbi tang, which was good too, but may be a bit plain tosome pallettes. My husband enjoyed the stew with roe and fish intestine as well as their Jokbal. Basically everything they servetastes good. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was their mochi ice cream. They taste good (we tried caramel andmatcha), but they're very small for a cost of $2 a piece. But I'm more than willing to excuse that since everything else aboutour 3 experiences here was amazing. Now that our kitchen is set up, we are sad that we won't be eating here as often. But wecan't wait to return and try more of their dishes! Read more

Not bad! Great service! Good good except for the Soondubu (Tofu Soup). Soooooo bland!!! Bleh!!! It's my favorite soup that I... get everytime I eat Korean (at least once a month) and this by far is the worst. I kept asking for various sauces to give itsome flavor but I ended up taking it home and adding some salt just to make it edible!! So disappointing... Hopefully the cookthat day just forgot to add salt and it's a one-off mistake?! Otherwise, we ordered two different cold noodle dishes and it hitthe spot! I'd return again especially since the service was pretty good. Ill just pass on ever ordering the tofu soup again. Read more
