What can I say that hasn't been said already? Well, I am from Philadelphia. We eat cheesesteaks almost daily. Up until today I... had never thought of putting chili, mustard and pickles on a cheesesteak. But....... This sandwich was amazing. Just the rightamount of chili so it wasn't messy, the roll was fresh and the meat was good. My friend got the footlong dog which was actuallya bit longer than the roll. I had never seen a single hotdog that was that big! It's a no frills counter service place with 2 ofthe hardest working women I have seen in years. They could easily outwork most men and women half their age Bottom line ifyou're near this place, stop in and you will not be disappointed. Read more

First time? Get the double. Trust me. They cut the foot long in half and the bun is thick. The hot dog is small in the bun so... double it up. Didn't get the fries or a shake, but they seemed quite popular. Looking forward to returning. Read more

Vintage 71-years-in-business local shoppe offering classic food and treats such as footlong hotdogs, hamburgers, fries, and more... for a resonable price. You can get a soft serve vanilla cone for $2.10 with a chocolate dip for $.50 more. Servers very friendlyand fast. Check out this local gem of a retro fast-food place. Go for the experience as well as the fun foods! Read more

Today was my first time there. I have really bad social anxiety and I took a chance to go to a place for the first time alone.... And WOW the 3 lovely ladies were so friendly and I didn?t get anxious at all because of how personal they were with me. I wish Icould give 100 stars ?? just for that. And God to top it off nothing was subpar. Food was amazing definitely eyes bigger then mystomach so I couldn?t finish the sub ???????? (got the whole sub) fries, small cone and large drink. Not too pricey and wasworth every penny. Thank you for being just amazing overall ???????? Read more

Not very impressed w/ the outdated building, brash waitstaff, & poor food quality. No plump, juicy hotdogs served here & no... bacon to add to their burgers either. Prices were cheap, which makes sense when considering the whole experience. I'd only stophere again if I didn't have enough money for better fast food/soft serve icecream. Read more

I have been going here since I was a kid. Don't live in the area anymore but always stop in when I am. The ladies that work here... may have changed, but the method in which they work has not and it never ceases to impress. Double dog with everything is alwaysmy go-to. Chocolate shake is delicious.
