This was our first visit as I have had it on my list of places to visit for a while now. We were greeted by the owner, Tim, who... was very hospitable and explained the menu. I got a scoop of the lemon chicken salad (it has a more creative name on the menu)with pablano chicken soup. Both were amazing and just the right amount for lunch. I have to stop in every time I'm in town for business! The owner always makes me feel like a regular even when I'm only there a... few times a year, so when I was in town for the Labor Day weekend to see the play with my mother and my daughter we had to stopby! I was so (selfishly) disappointed that you were closed even though the app took my pick up order, but the owner was therecleaning. Despite letting her staff off for the one day of the year that honors workers, she still was there. She let me knowthey were closed, and she assured me my card would not be charged. Once I was back in my car, she called to tell me she had justrefunded my order. Please patronize this business! Not only is the food addictive and crave-able and the service top-notch, butthis is a business owner who you can tell loves what she does and works beside her staff. She turned away 4 other groups, justwhile I was there. I know she could have made people work today to bring in profits, but instead she chose to honor heremployees! People over profits! But when I ordered a salad with 2 scoops of chicken salad and before I could specify which 2, the woman behind... the counter told me I had to tell her the title of the salad because she didn?t know which one I wanted. I have been to otherCSCs and they did not seem to have a problem. It was probably because they waited for me to finish instead of interrupting. Read more
Lemon Basil Chicken Salad sandwich on a crescent was the best with side of the freshest fruit....... Husband said his Turkey... club with mac n cheese was Terrific...So glad we decided to stop in today. If you like chicken salad, then you?ll most likely enjoy this place. Takes the greatest fresh but it?s also decent for take out.... Dining area inside looks simple yet inviting. Cashier at the front explained how the menu works. Food came quick and theservice was friendly. Employee said to leave the trash on the table and cleaned it up for us. They have great soups and sides.Loaded potato soup was surprisingly yummy. Chicken artichoke soup was tasty too. Mac and cheese was nice. Croissant chickensalad was pretty good. The chicken salad was good but not great. I ordered one with grapes and it should have said grape!! I had heard so much about... CSC that I was disappointed. We also tried a scoop of pimento cheese. It was too dry! It crumbled! The young lady wiping thetables put her butt in the face of the customers at the next table as she wiped tables. I think she was new and needed sometraining.
