Have only stopped here a few times and each time is enjoyable. We always manage to meet new people either locals or people... passing through. Met a couple that drove from Minoqua that found Derek's once before while just passing thank came back becausethe food, drinks and atmosphere was so nice. Truly a diamond in the rough???? Read more

Have had a place in the North Woods for over 15 years, constantly checking for the best Upnort Perch Fish fry. It all ended... tonight! Got the Captain Platter. It di not disappoint.
