I have eaten here in the past without any issues. The food has also been good. On Saturday my sister and I took our 3 young... children to eat here after spending time at the nearby park. Our waitress seemed to be inconvenienced by us, didn?t tend to ourminor requests(like asking for plates instead of eating on napkins) until we asked multiple times, and overall the vibe wasrude. We won?t be eating here again, which seemed like her motive anyway. Read more

Our first and very likely last visit. $53.00 for a large pie with mushroom, olives, pepperoni and artichokes and a small pie no... cheese (just dough and tomato sauce for my 9 y/o boy)????? This place is even more expensive than Pepe's in New Haven and atleast at Pepes we got white clams and generous toppings. Despite the ridiculous price, Giovanni's toppings were extremelyungenerous. The pepperoni pieces were the smallest I've ever seen and averaged only about 3-4 pieces per slice (two of theslices had only 2 pieces!!), we needed a microscope to see the little mushroom chips and even the cheese was sparse! I've beena pizza lover for five decades, having dined at the original Ray's in NYC, to Chicago's Angelo's, Giordanno's and Pizzeria Uno(before it franchised) to New Haven's Modern APizza and this is absolutely the worst pizza I have ever eaten. My wife feltexactly the same. Oh, and to add insult to injury Giovanni's messed up the order giving us anchovies instead of artichokes. Ireally do not understand how this establishment received a single favorable review. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Read more

Great service! Lots in the menu. The pizza was thin crust, which I should have realized, but didn't, but it was still very good.... We also had the Mac n cheese balls that were amazing. I went with my 4 year old after visiting the science museum in Hartfordand she loved it. Very kid friendly - cartoons on one TV, wifi. Read more
