First Poki Bowl ever and it did not disappoint! The bowl was super fresh, tasty and portions are quite good. Great location,... in and out fast, with kind staff and very happy to direct you in the poki process. My brother and I went for the first and were shocked at the of the prices at first ? then we started to eat our bowls and the... rice was an instant turn away, tasted like smoked fish ? we didn?t finish the rice as it started to make us feel gross .. todayis the next day and we are both experiencing food poisoning!!!!!!!!! Great location! Amazing food! and what is more important is that the owner really cares! I had the Salmon/Ahi tuna combo with... brown rice / lettuce combo and it was very good. The added bonus is that they also serve beer and wine. Read more
I was excited to finally have a poke restaurant in Gilroy. The location was nice and clean but the service could be better. They... also had a nice selection of Hawaiian Sun products - which is great. I asked for seaweed salad (yes, it?s $1.50 extra, and I gotthe the smallest most stingiest scoop ever). I also asked for furikake and the associate looked at me and questioned ?what?sthat??. The quality of the ahi tuna & salmon was subpar and I don?t believe I will be returning to this location. Unfortunately I will not be returning. We came to try the new location closer to us. One of the bowls was for a child I ordered... white rice and crab meat. Normally at other locations I am charged for the rice and crab meat separately. However, this time Iwas charged the full price for a regular bowl. Paying $16 for just rice seems outrageous. The 2nd bowl barely had any scoops ofanything in it. With that said I will continue to drive to Morgan Hill or San Jose. Read more
