I really wanted to like this pizza, but unfortunately it tasted bland. The tomato sauce and crust didn?t have much flavor to... them. Though the staff was friendly and helpful. Last weekend we made a pizza dinner at a picnic area in Christmas Hill Park for around 40 guests who were attending our son?s... wedding in Gilroy the next day. We live out of town and were a bit concerned about arranging for pizza delivery to a park, andso communicated with the restaurant by both phone and email ahead of time about what and how much to order. Dennis, the owner,and Omar, the manager, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Dennis even visited the park the day before to makesure the delivery would go to the right place, and Omar delivered the food himself to make sure everything was done right. Itwas perfect! And the pizza and salads were excellent! My husband and I especially liked the BBQ chicken pizza, but our guestscomplimented us on all the food (pepperoni, veggie, BBQ chicken, and cheese pizzas, and green salad trays). This was our first shot at trying out Pizza Factory and that first shot guaranteed we will be regulars, and often. The toppings... on our combo pizza were more than if I had ordered extra elsewhere. It was absolutely loaded to the point that each time wegrabbed a slice we did the sausage swoop in the box to pile on the load that rolled off of the pile. I?ll be honest?I had never heard of this place until tonight?.I got in the mood for pizza and ordered from doordash.. I was... very pleased with my order and how absolutely terrific this pizza was. The crust was thick but not too thick, and had a nicecrisp but not overdone. The sauce had a hint of spice but just the right amount and wasn?t overbearing. I love the Pizza Factory in Gilroy. Their pizza is always fresh and they always use good quality toppings. My favorite is their... Awesome Combo Pizza. Their dough is really good too. I came home expected a flavourful pizza with a balance of ingredients. I realized after the first bite that the sauce was bland... and the fact that there was way too much onions and pepper I couldn't even taste the pepperoni. There was alot sausage butstill no flavor. My roomate was trying to buy from Dutchman pizza but used Doordash . We were both extremely thankful thoughtfor the service and prompt response from pizza factory the staff was not the issue by any means. This review is solely aboutthe quality of this pizza .Save money go-to lil ceasers. Want a awesome pizza go to Dutchmans it's across the street orPinocchio pizza across town . Kinda on the pricey side... XL one topping was on "special" for about $23 or so, yet somehow my total ended up being almost 50... bucks for that plus an order of bread sticks and 2 drinks???????????? Aside from that, I have zero complaints.
