Excellent lunch for my first time visit. We ordered a few items to share and each was very tasty?and the portions were very... nice. I live in SJ, but the next time I?m in Gilroy for a lunch meeting, I?ll indeed recommend this place. I typically like tovisit a place a few times before writing a review, but between the super nice people working there, and the hella good food, Ifigured I?d share my positive experience in hopes it reached the Gilroy locals, and help this business stay open so I can enjoythem again and again. I have tasted better Thai food then this cheap ingredients they?re not fresh ingredients The Orange juice or the lemon are from... Brand Simply( they can get from the stores)not freshly squeezed. The vegetarian options are horrible taste. One of the best asian restaurant in bay area. Location is top class , Ambiance is great , staff/service is amazing and Food is... mind blowing. They have some of the best stuffed mushrooms I ever had. Food quality is pretty decent with good price. I havebeen there couple time , its my go to spot whenever I head south from bay area. If you are in the area and want something different from burgers or fast food, and want a nice/quiet lunch or dinner -with... plenty of vegetarian options, and friendly service, this is a good option. The food's portions are not very big, so if you arehungry I recommend you order a side dish or appetizer. I eat here somewhat regularly and enjoy the food. Is it the best Asian fusion I've ever eaten? No, but it's pretty darn good and... some dishes, including the pineapple chicken and yam fries, really hit the spot. The menu is also very vegetarian and veganfriendly. The service here is not perfect, but they are also doing a very good job while being understaffed due to COVID.Lastly, I'd say the menu is very affordable compared to similar restaurants in the area. Ahh Gilroy.. the garlic capital of the world. It'd be a crime to leave the city without consuming any garlic. ;) Arrived around... 11:45am on a Sunday and got seated right away. We were the first customers of the day. Interior is neat. Started to get busypast 12. ? O R D E R E D + V E R D I C T ? 1. Fisherman's Prawns | 5/5: Of course had to order the fisherman's prawns afterseeing the amount of garlic that's sprinkled on top of the prawns. Super crispy. Full of fried garlic bits that complement theprawn really well. Not overly greasy. Great amount and size of prawns. 2. Heart-Attack Fried Rice | 4/5: Another garlic item.Ngl the name heart attack fried rice almost gave me a heart attack. Do not fear tho, I'm still alive. Served in a stone pot.Nice crispy bits from the torched rice on the bottom. Nice and flavorful. Not too oily. Bits of seafood in every fewbites. Overall, solid 4.
