This place was highly recommended. Our server was Melissa and the moment she arrived at our table, she asked us if we were... walking on the side of the road earlier that day and said that her and her son just stared at them. We quickly told her itdefinitely wasn't us, we were in South Dakota all day. We ordered our food, received our food and Melissa never once stopped andasked how our meal was. She only prebussed our table at the end as she dropped off the dessert menu. We didn't order dessert. It was an overall disappointment. It started off wrong with the server and didn't get any better. One of the best meals we had on our 3000 mile road trip! The service was great, and very attentive. The prime rib was incredibly... tender, with a firm texture that was perfectly cooked just the way I like it. The French onion soup was one of the best I’veever had. Came highly recommended from the guy at AutoZone in Sheridan, of all places. Cannot say enough good things about the place! Fine... dining, Fine service, romantic atmosphere and food was immaculately pleasing to my tastebuds! Our waitress even brought out acomplimentary dessert (creme brulee - my favorite) for anniversary, which was super kind! Is a little on the pricey side, sobring your pocketbook. So great! Love the staff, fantastic food. Always a great place to go. They really do a good job. I love their cob salad. And the... burgers? ????????unbelievably delicious. It is the perfect Gillette restaurant for a professional work lunch, fancy date, orjust eating with people for fun. There is a good bar as well. But yeah, if you need to go to a “nice place” in town, this isone of the absolute, if not THE absolute best option. Oh, and it’s locally run and operated so that’s always a bonus in mybook. Restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived for a reservation at 6pm. We had a rather large group dining. The wait staff was... attentive and somewhat organized with their approach to a rather large group. Everyone had various things on the menu includingappetizers. The ones that stood out were the stuffed mushrooms, calamari and BBQ shrimp. These were all very good. The onlything that was not near as good as I have had elsewhere were the Rocky Mountain Oysters. These was extremely overcooked. All inall I would recommend this place but make sure you have a reservation and a full wallet. Read more

Great lunch in Gillette WY???????? at The Prime Rib. Although I am trying to get back on a vegetarian track this was my first... time into this excellent restaurant so opted to go with their namesake dish. Very tender and seasoned perfectly! ???? Startedwith some delicious Escargot! Service was excellent and even the bread was tasty! Wine lovers take note???????????? FantasticReserve Cellar at very reasonable prices. Dominus 1991 at $289!!!
