Who else would spend... so much time behind the scenes, likely late at night, putting in condiments in little baggies for to go orders like this? Theirfood? Absolutely amazing. Hopped off I-90 for some lunch in Gillette and stumbled upon the Stagecoach. As the other reviewers have noted, the service... here is friendly and attentive. Although there were quite a few locals in for lunch, we definitely didn't feel out of placecoming from 5 or 6 states away. The food itself is fresh and tasty. I had the Santa Fe Burger (pictured below) and made shortwork of it, along with a few glasses of Mt. Dew from their self-serve fountain. Overall, a great mom and pop place. I like to give a nice fair rating, if a place is nice and neat. I went in for breakfast for the first time the other day. I've... lived in Gillette for a couple, maybe a few years now. I could ramble on for hours...long story short, the absolute bestbreakfast you'll get. Aside from your mamas house. And you might just want to slap yo mama because this place has 13 out of 5stars. Great food had a patty melt it was so cheesy and delicious. Wife had a bacon cheeseburger it was awesome the bacon was great.... There hamburgers are the best that we have had in Gillette so far. The server was friendly and had our food out asap. Great mealgreat service great restaurant . Read more
What a perfect local gem! The lunch menu consists of burgers and sandwich staples made exceptionally well and priced right,... served in comfy western-themed dining room that skips obvious kitsch for fun retro style. Plus there are little surprises likethe deluxe salad bar, their phenomenal green chili, and the creative breakfast menu that I was sadly too late for. I stopped onmy way to Yellowstone and Anne, the proprietor, made me feel like I was a local who'd been coming there for years. I chatted with some staff who said they loved working there and being part of the wonderful family vibe that makes this place sospecial.
