Reviews for Philly Shop & Co. in Gillette, WY
I ate here with the previous owner. It?s a fantastic place. I really hoped I would been able to eat here again once I moved to... the area. Unfortunately they were still closed and I?m out of state for who knows how long. I really hope they?re open when Iget back. It?s the first thing I want when I get home. Read more
We saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. It was very good and very fast! Online rings were delicious and the staff was... very kind and helpful. I had the Philly classic, delicious! Read more
Was pretty tasty. Very slow drive through line. Expected more seasoned meat for the prices. Overall enjoyable though. And they... do have cheeze whiz for the real Philly experience however meat was a tad bland and not nearly enough cheeze whiz on it. Staffwas average not as friendly as other spots in town but still decent for a Philly in the midwest. Read more
Our Philly's were outstanding. The pork belly philly is a must try. My mouth is watering typing about it. The staff were very... friendly and the overall experience was very pleasant. Will absolutely frequent this establishment. Read more
So I just wanted to clarify that my menu does read what comes on each menu item. Thank you everyone who support the Philly shop.... To be clear there is no such thing as a fast food Philly our drive threw is for convenience and is subject to longer wait timesdepending on how busy we are. Read more
My husband and I visited this restaurant in December during our vacation. Such a unique building! Food was amazing! Staffs were... beyond above with customer service! The manager I believe her name was Cecelia introduced herself. She is such a nice younglady! Definitely will see her again. Read more
Being from philly we had to stop here and give it a try! Honestly I was so surprised at how good it was! The bread was on point!... You could tell the steak was of good quality and not cheap thin steak. And the American cheese was also on point! Really made mefeel like I was back home! And the fries were very well seasoned just how I like em! Read more
I have to preface this by saying I don't mean to be a detriment to their business, and the new owners are very friendly.... However, since buying the Philly shop, the food is not as good as it used to be. Hopefully this feedback just leads to thingsgetting better. Having said that, I have gone a couple times since the Philly shop was sold again, and I have been verydisappointed in the food. Again, the staff has been great and friendly, but I'm left not only disappointed, but missing the foodthat used to be served. First, I went to try the philly since they had clearly changed them. Previously, they had fried bread, pork belly, and beer cheese. These are all sadly absent from the menu. You now have soft bread, shaved beef, and melted cheese. The peppers and onions are all diced where they were bigger chunks before. It wasn't bad, but it was nowhere near as good asthe pork belly beer cheese Philly I was used to. I was disappointed but willing to try other things. One of the benefits ofthe takeover was adding a lot more menu items. Burgers and chicken are now on the menu. More options are great, as long asthey're good options. Unfortunately, so far, that did not seem to be the case. I didn't see chicken anywhere on the drive upmenu (though I had seen it online), but whatever, I figured I'd try a burger anyways. I got a bacon cheese burger that had a1/4lb patty that was super salty, and a small arrangement of lettuce shards and onion in a mac-like sauce for $7. It lookedlike something someone slapped together at a fast food restaurant. The side of ranch was surprisingly good though and was theonly thing that cut the saltiness of the burger. All in all, my experience was that the portions look smaller, and the qualityis worse than it used to be. I'll revisit later and update my review if it gets better, but for now, it needs a lot of work. Read more
