Not a mead guy at all but I enjoyed it! They brew a good selection of beers, and big merch section if you're into that
I was very disappointed in this highly recommended highly reviewed mead. We were recommended to it buy a liquor Warehouse that... has a very large selection of mead and as a heathen I'm a hard critic. We tried the banana mead with great enthusiasm and werehorribly disappointed. This particular bottle of mead would be an absolute embarrassment to bring around other heathens and meadCrafters. I gave it a chance after a glass and a couple days to try it again and felt like I bought a bottle of cheap vodka withsugar in it. My fiance doesn't drink except for when It's mead and he couldn't handle more than a sip. I should have knownbetter when I read the description and it said Viking instead of literally anything else. Viking is the act of which the nativenorthern European cultures partook not what they're called. Please don't turn away from trying other flavors by this company buttake it from somebody who makes mead and has dozens of professional mead Crafters/ connoisseurs as friends that this isn't amead it's a low proof joke. We went at the perfect time today, about 5:20pm, where there are a few groups in and a few outside. Right before it starts to... pick up for Trivia Night and before the dinner rush. We had a Mead Flight of the four that are on tap and a pint of BL PeachBlonde and a BL Hefe since I prefer beer. Honey mead has a bite, a sweetness and is Very flavorful and not as heavy as wine orbeer but high alcohol per volume. We liked the Wild Woman the best with the hibiscus so we bought a bottle. I'm glad there was aburger and salty fries next door. Plus Cornhole in the courtyard. I lost of course. Cheers and thanks Big Lost Meadery for agood time. Read more
Great service and selection of drinks. Beer Mead and wine. They will also make a mixed drink. Great decor and atmosphere.... They allow ???? on the patio. Next door they serve burgers chicken or spuds. Read more
Very cool and chill place. Now open 7 days a week. I know the schedule was confusing for a while. Many different meads, beer,... and wines to choose from. Spacious and has indoor.and outdoor seating. Restaurant right next to it opening up soon for those whowant food. Support a local business and come down. Read more
My family, friends, and I have visited Big Lost on several occasions. None of us had ever tried mead before (only read about it... in "Beowulf" and the like)...oh my goodness have we been missing out! Great stuff, especially the Crazy Woman. Anyway, it's acomfortable place to hangout and the welcoming staff make this one of my favorite place in Gillette (or Wyoming for thatmatter). Read more
Great place. The mead was fantastic. You can get a sample flight of meads or beers. Mead is sold on bottles.
Always and forever will be a great place in Gillette to hang out and try new creations the locals have come up with. Plenty of... activities all week long, don't pass it up. P.S. Haley is the most hospitable host you'll experience in the tri-state area, topass up her company is considered blasphemy. Read more
