Postinos is a modern eatery that specializes in vibe, sandwiches and wine. You will love the food, enjoy the service, and gamble... on either the room or the outdoor seating. The facility is actually small in indoor square footage, but has an additional 2 or3 sections of patio seating with shade, misting and lighting that makes a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The indoor seatingis cramped, open and loud to the point of being nearly impossible to converse. I have been here two or three times, and my onlyfrustration here is that the volume and music makes an evening with your love or friends turn into a shouting match. Yes, I knowthe vibe they are going for. And it fails. I know how to use a decibel meter too. Enjoying a sandwich with friends and a glassof wine shouldn't be this difficult. Admittedly, the outdoor patio is excellent, and I loved that in past visits. But somedays in Arizona it is nice to sit inside. Doing so here means I have to put up with the manager thinking 100db is a funexperience for diners. Now to the food. Postinos takes the approach that less is more and hits a home run. Their two basicitems are panini sandwiches and bruschetta boards. Both are stellar. I've tried a couple sandwiches- turkey pesto and chickenmozzarella- and they were excellent. Besides being tasty they are large enough to fill you up for dinner, along with a nice sideof homemade kettle chips. The bruschetta boards are likewise top notch engaging all the palette from salt and sweet to crunchand soft. Different flavors and items that are wonderful. Finally the staff is excellent. They are helpful, efficient, andalways kind. This is a well trained group and were always pleasant to engage with.
