This place is just ok. At 5 o'clock it was completely empty, which should have been an indication. The kid who helped us was... friendly, but not very on top of his game. My wife mentioned it was taco Tuesday, he said he had forgotten it was Tuesday. Evenafter that, he didn't honor the taco Tuesday special of $0.80 off each taco; pretty disappointing. As I examined the receipt, Inoticed he charged us for chips and guac even though we never asked for them. Only after I mentioned it did he even offer to getthem for us. Sketchy! The tacos were just ok, certainly not worth going out of your way for. We won't be back. Read more
Nice place, huge portions. Service was great! I was not a fan of the mesquite fired; I had Chicken quesadilla. Lots of chicken... on it. I would like to see a little more cheese. Husband has a burrito. He liked the very hot sauce. They do have a drive thruif you don't wish to dine in. Read more
There is something to be said about a restaurant that grills over open fire filled with lump mesquite coals. I so love the... flavor of mesquite that I use it religiously when I grill and smoke at home. We had tacos made with both chicken and carneasada and they were awesome. I also had a burrito with chicken, carne asada, beans, rice, cheese, pico and hot salsa. Which Iseriously enjoyed. You can watch the meat grilling process and your order being made which makes for a cool experience. Mexican sodas, agua frescas, and the standard soft drinks are available with free refills. These taco are sooo good. All and any of the toppings including guacamole are no extra charge. I can't believe this place isn't... busier. Definitely going back for their Tuesday special. Read more
The tacos were amazing!! We usually rate our food anything 5 and above we will have again and the tacos were a 9 for me, love... love. Corn and flour tortillas were very good, I was impressed as we cook authentic Mexican at home. But, rice was not great. Hot sauce were both delicious. Caution with the red one lol. Read more
I?ve been wanting to try Mr Mesquite, now Mesquite Fresh Street Mex. Hubby and I finally went to the one in Gilbert today for... lunch. Hubby ordered two ?mixed? (chicken and steak) street tacos. I ordered a mixed ?killer burrito? with refried beans, rice,cheese and guacamole creama. Delicious!! Just the way I like my burritos prepared. The guy filled it so full the burritostarted coming apart when I held it to eat. It was so big I could only eat half. Hubby finished the other half. We got thechurro chips for dessert. Me and my husband were looking for some good food to eat in chandler. This pop up on our map. We came and we loveddddd it here.... The staff were so friendly. Shoutout to Rosendo! He was super friendly and cool made the whole experience better. The food wasamazing. The price was also super decent to for all the food we got, It is very hard to find good Mexican food. This goes beyondmy expectation. Also love the design on the inside. Very clean and very tidy. Definitely will be coming back! Recommend 10/10! Read more
