I?m from Chicago, and I?m a huge fan of Lou Malnati?s. It?s disappointing to have this experience. I gave this location a try... following an afternoon appointment nearby. My order was for a large deep dish pizza: sausage broken up into pieces, onions, andgreen peppers ? cooked well. In addition I picked up a Lou salad with the sweet vinaigrette. The wait time was for 30 minutes, and I prepaid for the order which came to $56.96 after tax. The pizza itself was $39.26? a bit pricy. The salad was the bestpart of this order. It?s the reason why this review is getting three stars; otherwise it would be a two star review. Why? Thepizza was more like a hand tossed pizza crust ? far from the deep dish I?ve known with the high outer crust. The cheese didn?tseem to be as much as what?s usually applied. The onions, peppers, and sauce were ok; but the flavor wasn?t there. And the pizzawasn?t cooked to order. I?ve had better from the Lou?s in Scottsdale. I?m curious if these are owned by the same management, ortwo different owners? And what kind of training was received to ensure quality in making Lou Malnati pizzas? I doubt that I?llreturn based on the distance. Had it been better I?d keep it in mind the next time I?m in Gilbert. Hopefully they?ll read thisreview, take it to heart, and do what needs to be done to improve the quality of pizza that the Chicago Lou Malnati?s is knownfor. How well do they want to succeed will show in their future pizzas that they make. For the price they charge, they owe thatmuch to their customers. Read more

Cute story: I had to park my car out font of your shop real quick today so I could speak to my mom and not be distracted. A nice... lady came out of the shop to greet me and asked if I had ordered a pie. I hadn't. But wow, what an adorable example of fast andfriendly customer service. I quickly pulled out of the front of the shop as to not take front row spaces for customers. I willdefinitely stop by when I am wanting to order a pie! Great, attentive staff! Read more

Not worth the visit. Things to note: This is a carry out only location. They have a limited menu with frozen much inferior... ingredients. Even the sausage tasted strange and flavorless. I spent $60 on 2 pizza?s got home and they had messed up the order. The girl at the counter was very nice, but got everything we asked for wrong. Do yourself a favor and just drive to theScottsdale or Phoenix Location. I live in Queen Creek and really wanted this to be good, now I just want a refund. I?m a big fanof Lou?s, this is FAR from the original. Read more

Nothing special. Average at best. The cheese and sauce are excellent. I ordered a pepperoni and there was way too much... pepperoni. The crust is tasteless, bland, and nothing to celebrate. Beware: if you pick up your pizza like I did, you cannot sitin a slightly inclined seat. I had the pizza sit on my passenger seat at a slight angle and everything slid to one side. I?venever experienced a pizza slide to one side like this! I did not factor this into my review as this mistake was on me. I?ll trythis place again in a month or so. Maybe it was an off day for flavor. Read more

Weirdly enough, everything but the pizza was worth it. The Buffalou sauce on the wings was probably the best wing sauce I've... ever had, ever. The chocolate obsession was smooth and just right. The bread sticks were ok, but the marinara that came withthem was great. And the steak sandwich was amazing for the price. The only thing I couldn't justify was the price of the pizza. It tastes good, but $36 for a large thin crust was kinda nutty. Read more
