Talk about busy! You order at a counter and take your food back to your seat on a try like you might have done in your HS lunch... room. Fittingly enough, this place has a similar feed to a school cafeteria. There's a relaxed vibe which seems to welcome anarray of customers. The food was good. Visited many times and never failed me!! The food is just amazingly delicious!! I usually order either the sampler or sandwich... but this time we ordered the Joe's Big BBQ Feast which includes: (Ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, choose 2 big sides,cornbread and a huge baker included) it was about $75 without taxes. Hands down one of the better places to get BBQ in Arizona. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Asked a few questions... and they where all to happy to answer them. 3 different styles of sauce, and tons of sides to pick from. My only real criticismwould be that the corn bread, I would give it a C+. It was a touch dry and didn't really sing with flavor. But I really enjoyedmy visit and look forward to coming back! I always take the brisket plate & it tastes absolutely delicious! Cafeteria style serving, so you get your food quickly. Good... atmosphere with two indoor seating areas & one outdoor seating/play area. Read more
Super delicious! Family loved everything we tried. Favorites were the ribs, brisket, baked beans, mac and cheese (kids... enjoyed... Not spicy at all like a lot of places!), and corn bread with honey butter. Food ready really quickly, comfortabledining area. Never a bad meal at this place! The food is always delicious and the bbq is made fresh every time I go there. The staff are very... nice and will come ask me if everything is ok with the meal. They have outdoor seating play area and a small room that you canhost parties indoor. Nicely located in the Gilbert downtown area with a parking lot in the back. Read more
We just love Joe's BBQ and come here as much as we can. This time we tried curbside pick up. I forgot to order ahead (you can do... so via website or calling) but that wasn't a problem and as i pulled in the curbside pick up there are signs so you can order onthe spot. I love their stuffed baker, with brisket or chicken. Read more
