Our first time visiting this new establishment, but it won't be the last. Be warned! Don't be brave and order the hottest... chicken. You will regret it. I ordered hot and made it through with a few cups of water but soooo deliscious. My daughter, onthe other hand, ordered the mild just below the hot. She couldn't do it. The manager was generous enough to get her a lighterseasoning, and it was perfect. She loved it. Don't waste your time *cough**cough* across the street. ???? if you know thelocation you know. This is the new favorite now. ???? Read more

Just get two tenders and a drink, hot is not to hot but beautifully seasoned, fries and macaroni are your Cringes and Kraft... cheese from the store so save your money. Forget the kale slaw has no flavor so that?s a no go, busy but the chicken worth thewait and so is the bread on the sliders. Would have given five stars but sides are not worth it. Read more

I want to start off with the positive things about this place. They have a ton of employees working, and they have excellent... customer service. We also found the restaurant to be very clean. The fries are good, and the macaroni and cheese is great. TheDave?s Sauce is really good, tasting very similar to the sauce at Cane?s. The chicken is good, but it?s not great. The sauce andpickles that they put on the sliders make the chicken pretty good. If you just went there to get their chicken, you?d beunderwhelmed. The reason we won?t be returning is that for two adults and two small kids to eat, it was $70 including tax andtip. If I am paying $70 for chicken tenders, fries, a drink, and some macaroni and cheese, it had better be life-changing. Theirfood does not justify their prices. Read more

The best chicken in the world! This restaurant is located on the corner Copper and Baseline in the town of Gilbert and close to... the 60. Don't expect to walk/drive up and be served immediately, it'll always be more than a 20 minute wait to even place yourorder. Trust me, it's worth the wait! I'm not sure how their tipping works because one time we were asked if we'd like to tipand another time we weren't asked at all. Make sure to ask for honey, extra sauce or ketchup because they usually don'task. Bring your appetites because their ???? is so juicy and delicious, you can have it as hot as you can handle but also noheat at all, just choose from the hot menu. Read more

Sorry, but don't believe the hype. We were SO looking forward to it, but we were very disappointed. Way too expensive. Chicken... was dry and fries were just blah. The pictures look good but the taste is missing. Don't need to go back.... wish I had a betterreview. Stopped at McD's on the way home. :( Read more

Chicken is crispy, the kale slaw and pickle are the perfect touch, and I generally do not care for pickles on my hot sandwiches... because they tend to be mushy/slimy. These were fab. ???? I had the medium on the spice range and did not find it spicy at all,so I will step it up next time. Fries are seasoned well and crunchy. Love that. Music is loud and upbeat, staff is smiley andwelcoming! (Peyton was amazing) I love the graffiti paint inside and out. We will definitely be back. ?????????? Read more

The food and service were both good. A bit pricey but that might be the world we live in today. It?s newly opened so there is a... bit of anarchy going on in the parking lot when trying to leave and the drive through is backed up. Nothing common courtesyamongst drivers couldn?t fix, good luck with that. Overall I?d recommend. Read more

Dave's is the California chain that has tried to make a bid at commericializing the Nashville hot chicken flavor that has become... the spicy alternative to Southern fried chicken. The chicken at Dave's is nicely cooked, and spice is both reminiscent of trueNashville hot chicken spice and yet adds a unique sweet twist. The pricing is reasonable, and the theme of the chicken shop isclearly urban culture. All that, with decent chicken, and Dave's still comes in a distant 3rd in Phoenix metro area forNashville hot chicken flavor. The new Dave's hot chicken location in Gilbert AZ is located on the south east corner of Stapleyand Baseline Rd. Its recent opening has both shrunk the lines at nearby chicken houses "Canes" and "Chick Fil A" and tried thepatience of the block long line of cars that wait for a taste of Dave's. I've made 2 visits to Dave's in 3 days, and each timethe wait of 20 minutes for dining in was worth the delay. The flavor of Dave's Hot Chicken includes a dry spice that is cookednicely into the chicken breast tenders that they serve. But they are serving tenders, not the bone-in whole or quarter chickenbreasts as the traditional Nashville hot chicken purists will know. The spice is dry applied before being deep fried and isn'tdusted on post cooking, as is evident from the fact it cooks into the skin and fat. The crust of the chicken skin is very nice. But aside from the spice one can also taste sweet sugar. Dave's has blended in sort of sweet glaze into the spice, which isactually kind of unique for Nashville hot chicken. I personally don't want the tinge of sweet, but it is easy to see why so manypeople get addicted to Dave's.. sugar does that to you. The spice levels at Dave's are not at all that hot. I tried medium, allthe way up to Reaper. The highest spice level at Dave's os thr equivalent of a true Nashville hot chicken medium spice. Dave'sis clearly playing to the public penchant for moderate heat and topping it off with a little sw Read more
