Came down from Prescott for my sons baseball tournament and ?Googled? best lunch near me and this joint showed up. Opened the... menu and it said free beer and burger today (for Veterans Day). I?m a Vet, so, very cool. Restaurant is very clean, great menu,great television set up for watching sports. Both my son and I had a great meal and Amber was a great hostess. Drinks were good but the food was terrible. Our party of 6 each ordered something different and no on liked their food. ... Chicken salad was simply lettuce on a plate with chicken strips on top and buffalo sauce poured over the top of everything. Other sandwiched and pizza was similarly not good. One person refused to eat her chicken sandwich after one bite. The serverswere helpful enough but you can't fix the taste of the food. Update reply to owner: I'm honestly not looking for a refund oranything, it was just an honest review. If it helps, we were there around 6pm on August 5th. Great experience here. Food was great, bartender was awesome, and all of the TVs made catching a game super easy. The prices... were also very good. The only strikes against the place were that the wait time from the kitchen was horrendous; close to 30minutes from the time we ordered to the time food showed up. Also, they dont keep their specials up to date. They wereadvertising some things that sounded great, but we were told we could no longer order then. Overall, great little place, andwill be back. Edit: Bumping up to 5 stars. We went back and had another great experience. The kitchen seemed faster this timearound and the food was incredible. Definitely will have to start coming here regularly. We went here once a month ago, the food was not good at all and half our party got sick. My wife and I wanted to try it again as... we thought maybe it was just and off night for the kitchen and we liked the TV set up for football season. We went again lastweek and the food is way below par even for a sports bar. We wanted to like it and even gave it the benefit of the doubt, butafter two times and being really disappointed it's time to move on. Side note, the bartenders and waitresses are nice andattentive. Where to begin? the food here is not good at all. Out of 8 people 1 person in our group liked their food they ordered. 4 of the... 8 of us got sick later that night with terrible stomach upset. Also, what kind of bar doesn?t fry their chicken wings?Apparently this place they were very soggy and nasty. Our draft beers were barley cool and not cold the bottled beers werecooler than the draft but still. The service was very slow but given there was only one server, I cannot blame her. Her servicewas very polite and she knew her stuff. The most shocking thing was walking out of the restroom (which was dirty) and seeing thecook cleaning a knife with a very very soiled rag. How did I see this? The kitchen door was open? Disgusting. Will we be back?No we sure wont. Just overall very disappointing as we were really excited yo try this place. Read more
First time...nice place. Good location..Live music was ok. TVs behind the band was distracting . Service was ok. Although... friendly..but a bit lacking in checking on us until we were about to leave. Ordered buffalo sliders and what I got wasdisappointing- a lot of bun and no chicken..It looked like a chicken strip was split in 3 pieces and put on each bun. Lost inthe bun...Not worth $12. Onion rings ok would have saved the extra 1.50 for sure .I asked for buffalo sauce so I can dip thestrip..it was an extra charge.I basically ate the chicken out of two the buns. Catching Flights was soo good! Our waitress, Kamyron was great! She introduced me and my husband to the "Screwball" which is one... of their frozen drinks...it was soo good! Their calamari was really crispy and tasty too. I got the Boston Sandwich which isfried cod on Texas toast with slaw.. ????????????...I got the buffalo fries as a side and OMG! I can't wait to have them again.My husband got the Nashville chicken sandwich and he loved it. He was also stealing my buffalo fries lol. We purchased a grouponwhich gave us $30 off of our meal. It's well worth the price regardless. We would recommend this spot for sure! Read more
First time here, I had the Philly cheese steak (sub out peppers, add mushrooms, oh my goodness so good!!). Hubby had a burger.... Lots of games on (but not too loud, thank you!) and it's pretty busy. Our server was very nice and even though she was alsobartending on top of taking care of several tables, her attitude was great. There's other things I want to try next time we go,so we'll be back.
