Great place. Watched Check please on PBS and this was 1 of the restaurants featured, so we decided to try. The tacos were... amazing. The prickly pear lemonade was excellent, bought a gallon to take home. We even took home 2 salads and some ribs fordinner. It was all wonderful. Great place. Will definitely go back. Read more
If you looking for bbq, dinner, lunch, breakfast (if they were open ????) THIS IS THE PLACE! Look no further sooo sooo yummy,... incredible service, simple atmosphere, and great local beer (they also have a full bar)!! Pictured below smoked wings (juicyand get in my mouth crispy skin delicious ) four peaks combo (did not disappoint melt in your mouth brisket, tender ribbs ,juicy chicken, incredible pulled pork to die for! ) family owned joint you won?t get any more local. The wife and I went here for dinner. Staff and service was excellent. We were walked through the menu and sauces. The wife had... smoke wings and a blood orange Margarita both were outstanding. I had the Superstition Combo. The meats were all pretty tasty. The green chili mac n cheese and the cornbread were good but not quite great. Some of the best wet brisket we've ever had! We had the Four Peaks Combo with their Giant Cornbread muffin and the Green Chili... Mac & Cheese. The ribs were excellent, as was the chicken and the pulled pork. The tortillas on the side were a nice optionand their House Sauce and Green Chili sauces are good and even better mixed. We don't get out this way often, but we'll make ita point to drop by when we do. They even have Coke Zero! Read more
Don?t get the corn! I looked back on reviews for the past 5 months and saw several instances the corn was inedible. It seems... by way of the owners response they had never heard that about their corn and would remedy the situation right away. Well, 5days later the situation had not been remedied and obviously several people have commented, including myself in this review. This concerns me as to their true commitment in handling poor quality situations. My wife and I love BBQ/smoked meats. AZbarbecue is a great place to pick up a nice meal for two or a group. We had the Superstition platter with mac&cheese, corn onthe cob and southwest slaw. The meats were done to perfection full of flavor and tender. The brisket was a bit dry, but nottoo bad. We loved the slaw and Mac & cheese, but the corn on the cob tasted like mop bucket/dirt. The corn seasoning was verynice and the initial taste was good, but the corn was not good. I love corn and I was looking forward to having it, but it wasinedible. Read more
Absolutely excellent BBQ with a nice Mexican food twist. We tried the four peaks BBQ plate (pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and... ribs) to sample a bit of everything. Everything was nicely cooked and seasoned. Theyve also got several choices of BBQ saucewhich helps to customize to your exact taste. Another person in our party tried the loaded baked potato (which was certainly ameal in itself with how large it was / how many toppings were on it) and our daughter tried the pulled pork sandwich with thepotato wedges (which was also a huge portion for kids). Atmosphere is a 3. There is no booth seating. And decor is Bland. Service is a 5. They were quick and friendly. Price for two... platters and 2 drinks $28. Portion sizes were large and we had left-overs. Food is a 5. Brisket is juicy and well seasoned. Tastes phenomenal!! Chicken was the same. Sauces were good. I mixed sweet and tangy and the mustard sauce. Yum! Will be our goto BBQ place from now on. Read more
