Reviews for O'Looney's Irish Pub in Gig Harbor, WA

It is a great place for beers although a little over priced. However, on my last two visits I went in for beers and a salad. ... First time my salad greens were wilted and I informed the bartender and she replaced my salad with a slightly less wilted salad. One week later, same thing. Hope it is not a trend. I would hate to loose the only Smithwicks on tap for miles. Read more

Beer is fresh. Shepherd\'s pie was bland. Burger was tasty. Service was slow, though servers seemed busy. May be not enough of... them. Read more

Great place for beers, they have a large selection. Saturday had live music while enjoying dinner and a beer. The look and... layout of this establishment is cozy.. Read more

Disapointed in their reduced summer menu, food is good off the full menu but very expensive. We had the same waitress both... times. First experience we had the owner who had great customer service. When he left the waitress with one couple at thebar, one other family and us, took extremely long. Drink never refilled and ended up waiting over 30 mins for our check when wekept trying to flag her down. Second time, waitress has 3 people at the bar and our geoup of 4. Waters were never refilled, hadto ask her to come get drink orders. Extremely alow service and waitress continues to forget about anyone not at the bar. Wehope to go back once the wait staff is changed. Great atmosphere. Read more

I\'m sad, this is a great pub from the start. I went this weekend though and found that the menu has been cut in half,... (everything potato has been cut from the \"Irish Pub\" menu) no more shepherds pie, (the best shepherds pie I\'ve ever had btw)no more bangers and mash, no more beef stew, no more french fries (chips), they\'ve been replaced with potato chips, (the onlypotato item on the menu) which means no more fish and chips (fries). Fish and chips is still on the menu but it comes withpotato chips.\nThey did still have the Scotch Egg but we\'re sold out by 5pm. (Best damn Scotch Eggs I\'ve ever had too)\nThefood and beer quality is still great but the prices have gone way up. ($20 for a burger with potato chips and $15 for the ScotchEgg) Probably why there was only one other table with customers and the first time I had ever seen Dunagans where it wasn\'tpacked!\nI don\'t know what happened but it saddens me because this is usually a sign of a dieing restaurant. I love this placeand hope things turn around quickly.\nMy prayers and my business will continue to be there for you. Read more

The beef stew is pretty terrible. I ordered it previously and it was pretty much gravy, potatoes and carrots with one piece of... beef. Ordered the stew again today thinking the last time was just a bad batch - nope! Another bowl of gravy with carrots andpotatoes without any beef this time. The restaurant itself is beautiful.
