We've been going here for year but hadn't been in since they changed ownership and switched up the menu. The place has gotten... more interesting with the addition of the Asian/Korean options on the menu. The burgers are still awesome. One of few placesanymore that will cook a burger to order and can actually nail a medium burger. The quality of the ingredients is well aboveaverage. The bacon was flavorful and property cooked. The Brussel sprouts were awesome. They were cooked through without beingreduced to a soggy mess. They actually had texture to them, the outer layer was a bit crispy from being fried but the underlyinglayers of the Brussel sprouts were tender but didn't fall apart on a fork. The vinaigrette used gave them an awesome flavorprofile. Even without a bunch of the vinaigrette they were well prepared and didn't have any of the off-putting flavors thatturn alot of people away from Brussel sprouts. The Hawaiian fried rice was amazing. The rice was properly cooked, it was tenderbut still had texture. All of the flavor profiles in the fried rice were awesome and well balanced. Even with the spam andbacon in it the rice was not overly salty. There was just enough pineapple and corn in the rice to give it a slight hint ofsweetness that pulled all the flavors together while at the same time still allowing the flavors to stand on their own as wellas giving it more dimension with the added textures. If you can't decide whether you want burgers or some kind of Asian inspiredfood lunchbox laboratory has become a one stop shop. Read more

Gig Harbor has a stealth Korean restaurant, that serves great burgers too. We went for a burger fix not knowing about the new... owners. I was not disappointed with my Korean Super Burger, and wifey was delighted with her bibimbap. The favorites from theLunchbox Labs burger menu still remain, along with new Korean favorites. We will be returning to try out the other dishes inthe future. Read more

Let me start off with the new owners are AWESOME and I love the Korean dishes they have added to the menu. This is one of my... family’s go to spots to eat, kid friendly and dog friendly (outside) that’s pretty hard to find! The food is genuinelyamazing from the burgers and new Korean dishes, you can’t go wrong with anything! The staff is really welcoming and helpful. Ihighly recommend giving this place a go! OH the milkshakes are a must as well. Read more

There is new owners who added Korean food and it is amazing!!! They have redone a lot of this menu and added a great twist to... things. I will say, I didn’t like the old lunchbox- their burgers were very bland and didn’t have great flavor, but Theyrefreshed the whole menu!! Also, I’m glad we finally have a great food place out here that also serves Koreanoptions!! Service 10/10 Display 10/10 And food is 11/10 Read more

Everyone we’ve met has been friendly and welcoming. Eaten here twice since new ownership took over and the Korean menu is... phenomenal! The Stone pot bulgogi and Stone pot bibim bap are superstars. This was an unexpected find at Lunchbox but the foodspeaks for itself. We will continue to be A+ customers! We also tried a coffee shake - it’s fragrant enough for coffee loversand balanced, not too sweet. Pricey but worth it, especially because portions are huge. We know it’s probably not possible, but we’d love smaller portions priced accordingly so we could eat here weekly. It’s just that tasty. Highly recommend. Read more

On our way home from the Zoo, we decided to try the Lunchbox Lab Restaurant in Gig Harbor, Washington. Like many different... places, its location was in a retail park, mini-mall, or strip plaza; whatever term you want, Lunchbox Lab was surrounded bymany shops, businesses, and other restaurants. Walking inside, it had a little feel of modern industrial décor. I'd say closeto being a fuss-free look; there were metal chairs and exposed piping, earthy tone colors with splashes of blues. I don't knowwhether the piping is being used for something or only as a prop; of course, the many lunchboxes that finished the scheme set itoff from other trendy industrial restaurants I have seen. It was a lot of fun looking at those lunchboxes; it took us back towhen we were very young, carrying one to school.???????????????? They had two menus, a regular one with several styles of Burgers; they also offered fish & chips, some appetizers, milkshakes, etc., and a special Korean menu. I don't know if that is aregular or a limited-time menu. I ended up ordering Korean chicken fried rice off the Korean menu; I can't complain about thesize; I had tons left over, even after my hubby helped himself to a few bites; nonetheless, it was full-flavored andyummy! Hubby ordered a Smokin' Hawaiian Burger with extra crispy fries and said it did not disappoint. That was a decent sizeburger, beef, bacon, pineapple, and jalapenos, and he mentioned cheese but wasn't sure of the kind; what more can one askfor? Our server Lizzy was bubbly with a warm and friendly smile, attentive but not overdone! The bathroom was a littlesmaller, a little dated, but clean! Unfortunately, the prices are a little on the higher side; there are a few things to factorin; aside from everything being a little higher in cost, this is Gig Harbor, and I read they are considered one of the moreaffluent cities in this area; They always have been. Also, the food was delicious, and our server was awesome! The only li Read more

Fastest attentive service I may have ever had. Food is great. It's burgers, so you're not going to get a variety. Sauces,... toppings, do really make you think lab, by the way they go about the burgers. All said and done, burgers need salt andpepper/depth, but again, sauces and cheese or balsamic onions, etc, do a lot of leg work on the food. Liquor drinks were weak, but not bad. Beers were tasty enough. Nothing amazing on those. Still, I would come back to this place time and time again baseddirectly on the Samsung fast service, especially with having kids. Read more
