We’ve eaten here for dinner and decided to try the pop up window experience. We got the poutine and al pastor tacos. Poutine... was crispy, tacos were flavorful, our tummies were happy. Agree with the other low reviews below. Very shocked they have such high reviews. Went to their pop up menu and was extremely... disappointed. The menu looked awesome, they have about 6 things on it. We ordered 3 things and it was $50. The al pastor tacoswere beyond disappointing.... they had zero flavor and I'm not sure what kind of tortillas they used but they were awful. Wewere so hungry after, we ended up at the Thai place across the street. I never mind spending money on good food and this justwasn't cutting it. I ate the tacos so fast just so I could be done with them. It was that bad. Read more
Just had a lovely private dining experience in a beautiful tent with very attentive server and chef. The food was creative and... delightfully yummy and all made in house. I was very impressed to be seated by the owner. She is extremely friendly andobviously loves giving her customers a truly fantastic dining experience. From the elegant presentation of each course to thesuggestions of just the right wine to pair with our meals...we were just amazed. We will be customers for life. We visited Animarum last evening with high expectations - and Animarum delivered - big time. We ate in the Speak Easy. The small... plates selection is excellent and we had quite the dinner night out with friends. Scallops were great, coconut prawns weretasty, enjoyed the half Lobster tail, we all had the 8oz ribeye - and we had more. The plates came out one at a time, so we hada leisurely evening. The atmosphere is intimate, low lighting and decor is well done - cozy seating. Moved to Gig Harbor in Junefrom Bellevue. Animarum is on the top of our list now. My husband and I have eaten at their speakeasy, and also used them for our cocktail reception for our wedding. These guys are... absolutely AMAZING in everything they do. The food, drinks, and service are all fantastic. The chef and owner are wonderful andfriendly people who took the utmost care of us all night for our reception, and went above and beyond. The cocktails were funand yummy, and the food was so delicious and such a hit with our group. We can't recommend Animarum enough for a nice night outor for any intimate get-togethers! Read more
