We were searching for a local place on the water and decided to check out Jerry's! What a cool spot! Your right on the water... watching the boats come in and the jet skis speed by! The food was good. We all had burgers with chips, Cole slaw and potatosalad. All of the waitresses were super nice and we definitely say it was kid friendly! Jerry's was a cool place to hang out. The only downfall to me was no liquor and I'm not much of a beer or wine drinker. My... husband has a blackened grouper sandwich and he still talks about that sandwiich, I had a Tampa Cuban it was ok. Didnt have alot of meat on it, i should have gotten the regular Cuban,. Loved this place! So relaxing to eat while looking at the boats and jet's skis on the river. We saw this bar in an episode of... bar rescue and wanted to check it out. Food was delicious. I had the BBQ chips with pulled pork ( very good) and hubby had thechildren's hotdog ( because if you get the hot dog meal is 2 hotdogs! ) Hot dog was big and tasty. Will come back with the kidsas they had play areas and there's a freedom boat next to it, so several families climbing on boats and boating away next to youwhile you eat listening to country life music. We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening and found a nice table down by the water, which was really nice. We were promptly... greeted and our drink order was taken. Waitress was wonderful. Chef brought out our lunch. Food was okay overall, loved the potato salad. My hamburger was good. Drinks... come in a can: coke, etc. Plenty of outdoor seating and small indoor seating area. It was fun to eat there once, but don't thinkI would drive all the way back there again. Sooo AJ?s On the River was a hidden gem that I will be a repeat offender. At first, I thought we were going to be out of place... but glad we were wrong. Our waitress was friendly and funny with good menu suggestions. We sat on the patio which is on thewater so you have a nice view. They had live music and good food. What an awesome little place on the water!!!!!!!! The vibe was exactly what we were looking for! Great food, live music & the... girls who work there are SUPER sweet! They were open on New Years Day (which ended up being an awesome boat day!) We pulled ourboat to their docks & even fueled up there (THEY HAVE FUEL!!!) since every fuel spot was closed New Years Day. The service is great. Whenever I go the servers are always so quick to greet me and take my drink and food order. I?ve had the... Dockside Cuban and the Blackened Grouper sandwich and they were very delicious. The ambience is great including the LIVE MUSIC. Read more
