Food is served family style, they ask how many meats you want, up to 3, then they start bringing the food, mashed potatoes,... corn, noodles, fried chicken, roast beef and ham, chicken and beef gravy and bread... Pies are already on the table when youarrive, different ones too, the food was awesome! The service was awesome, a really great place to eat! Read more

Great food and service. A bit to loud on the atmospheric side for me but I would go back.

Service is great, perfect.. chicken isn't as good as it used to be...little if any flavor to it. Rest of the meal was very good

The food and people are wonderful, as usual. All the food is served family style and you can eat as much as you want. Two... choices- fried chicken and ham, or fried chicken, ham, and roast beef!!! So yummy!! Read more

This is a local favorite for Sunday afternoon meals. They offer the usual menu service, but also have to option for a family... style meal. If the party is 4 or larger, we usually opt for the family style. It's always reliably good food, and includes allthe sides to round it out (including pie for dessert). The wait is usually acceptable, but reservations are a good idea for alarge party. They only serve meals to the public on Sunday for lunch, but it's worth the wait. Enjoy your visit to Old Zim's!
