This place would get 10 stars if I could. We went to celebrate a birthday and let me say that everything was excellent. The menu... was extensive with plenty of options for everyone. The ambience and decor was nice, didn't feel like a sardine in a can. Theservice was timed to perfection and the servers were so attentive and kind. They had extensive knowledge of the menu and we'reextremely helpful with all our order changes too. The food was plated well and tasted delicious. They had 3 other groups withbirthdays that same night and these girls sang happy birthday to every one of them with such enthusiasm. Awful. Just awful. Took my son there last night for his birthday for the first time. We walked in the door the whole staff was... in the waiting room. Strange, but not a big deal. I said, “Hello” to them and nobody said anything back. That was strange.The Scallops were huge and grossly undercooked. The rice was cold and tasteless. The fisherman’s platter was somethingstraight from Long John Silvers seemed like. We had to look for our own silverware. That was fun. I didn’t say anything orsend anything back because I didn’t want to embarrass my son on his birthday. This place is highly rated. I’m shocked it wasso bad. Food was great. Staff was great. Drinks were great. Atmosphere was great. The steak could use a little bit of seasoning. It was... perfectly cooked though. The lobster and crab are spot on. The restaurant is pretty big, and it was PACKED, we were lucky to find a table without making a reservation, so plan ahead. Food... was really good, the seafood was cooked perfectly (we ordered oysters, calamari and lobster rolls), the calamari was a bit saltybut not bad at all, the lobster rolls were amazing, had a good amount of lobster and the bun was so buttery it melted in mymouth. I have mixed opinions about the oysters, some were delicious and really fresh while others had a distinct bad/old flavorto them, but maybe I was just unlucky that day. We were there 9-23-2022 on a very busy Friday night. Our server Courtney was super friendly and efficient. Lots of service... staff. Lots of excellent selections. Great atmosphere. We frequent this restaurant as Al and his staff do a terrific job. Wewere grateful how fantastic everything was the food, service, how quick the food was served. It was actually the best meal wehave had at a restaurant in several weeks of dining out ! Everything was fresh, delicious, and plentiful.
