If I could give them a lower score I completely would. I did a order today went picked it up noticed I was missing a item so I... called them telling the son that they didn?t give me my fries that I ordered he tells me I never ordered fries I was going backand forth with him and he hung up on me when I called back he answered and hung up again til the 3rd time I called and he tellsme no no no you listen to me how about you bring the food back and I give you a full refund and you don?t have to eat here. Mindyou the whole time I am talking to the boy I?m telling him I?ll go back and get my fries I just want a discount on my food whenI go and get it because I know I ordered it what am I gonna use the bbq sauce for he tells me well people get bbq sauce forthere rice. All my life of getting Chinese food I ain?t never heard people say oh give me bbq sauce for my rice I have alwaysheard can I have bbq sauce for my fries or chicken wings. poor portion amount for a large 13$ after tax for a lunch platter combination size (half of what's expected of what's large.)... other than that food is always decent and employees are wonderful. cant bring myself to spend 13$ ever again for dinner and geta lunch size. Read more
The foods good but everytime I order over the last 6 months they seem to cheap out they pack the combination fried rice with... rich and barley put any veggies, and meat into it. I have been ordering from them for going on 2 years and they were my favoriteChinese restaurants until recently, when they started raising prices and putting hardly any veggies and meat in the food... Ordered their Pineapple Chicken and steamed vegetables. One served with chicken fried rice then other white! Both orders were... BANGING! Will definitely be ordering again. The only negative thing I feel needs said is the inside of the restaurant needscleaned up. Looks very hideous from looking in the window. Just because noone is eating inside. Visited Gettysburg for several days and tried Hong Kong for a take-out dinner. The other Google reviews were okay so we thought... we'd give it a try. The COVID precautions are excellent. You can only order through a small take out window, there is notindoor seating or service. That said, we were a little surprised to see that the man who took our order, while nice, wasbarefoot and unkempt. We ordered four different entree dishes and house fried rice. The entrees were all SWIMMING in sauce andwere extremely sweet, and the broccoli tasted mildewy. Clearly we have been spoiled by House of Chao in New Haven, Connecticut. Their food is amazing. We had 2 lunch specials here. They were both delicious. They were using strict Covid policy which gave us comfort too. The food... was amazing and the portions were so large we could have split one. Not sure when we'll be visiting Gettysburg again, but we'llbe planning a meal at Hong Kong. Read more
We came here because the reviews were good and we were not disappointed. The food is made to order and fresh. I really think the... chicken is a better cut and hand breaded? My husband and I were pleasantly surprised- I would not lump this in with your typicalChinese food take out. This is better and some of dishes are more homemade. Read more
We had the pineapple chicken. The chicken was very dry. Would not order it again.
