I live near Gettysburg and always enjoy visiting Blue and Gray. It?s a great hangout for locals and tourists with a cozy bar... vibe. Easy to get to walking or driving in the historic Lincoln Square. Casual pub fare. Best burgers and chicken wings in town.Great beer and cocktail selection. Staff super friendly. You?ll feel like a local. Read more

Great service and a great variety of pub food taken up a notch! We both had burgers and they were very flavorful and had a... generous amount of toppings. My long island iced tea was mixed perfectly! Read more

The staff was friendly. The food was good for the price. Ordered the Thursday night Filet Mignon special. Ordered medium-rare... but it came cooked medium. It was edible and I finished it at the price. But the waitress came to check on us and asked howeverything was. I informed her that the steak was overcooked and got only an acknowledgement in return. I have been to Gettusburg more times than I can count being a resident of Central Pennsylvania but today was the first time ever... eating at this establishment after my girlfriend looked up eating establisments prior to the visit. I will say that we werenot disappointed with the food. If you're a fan of soft pretzels and crab dip then order the crab dip soft pretzel. It is amassive, 12 inch (or bigger) soft pretzel covered with a delicious, hot, gooey, cheesy crab dip. It is essentially an appetizerbut due to the size, two people could literally make a meal out of it. The fried pickle chips were the best I have found sofar. Thin, crispy, not too greasy that have a hint of zing to them. They come with two dips, ranch and a Cajun dip which has akick for sure. The burger ordered was the John Buford. Huge is an understatement that was accompanied by sweet potato wafflefries. While the burger was good, unless you're a true fan of blue cheese, order a different burger. The blue cheese, which welove blue cheese dressing, has plain blue cheese crumbles mixed in with the mayo and the blue cheese was too overwhelming forour taste. So, for an avid blue cheese lover, this would be a great pick. Lastly my dish, the Blue and Grey wings. Choices ofsix or a dozen with several levels of "heat" to choose from. I attempted to order the hottest being the "Gettysburg Ghost" butthe server was honest and advised they do not seem as hot and the flavor has been off. Instead she suggested the "Devils Den"level. Damm!! The start with a mild zing and suddenly the heat kicks in. I only had four due to having the aforementionedpretzel and pickle chips. Had I not eaten some of the "appetizers" I probably would have had six or more but my fingers, mouthand lips were ON FIRE!! Definitely some of the best wings I have ever had both taste and heat. The establishment is busy andthere is a wait. We sat outside for about 25 to 30 minutes before they called our phone to Read more

Large selection of wing sauces. I had the Peach Orchard sauce on mine. Nice combination of sweet and heat, I would have liked... a little more Peach flavor but it was a tasty sauce and paired very nicely w my Firestone Walker Mind Haze IPA. Wings aretraditional style only (bone in) and mine were of nice size and properly cooked. I also tried the cannonball poppers which werebreaded deep fried balls of jalapeno cream cheesey goodness accompanied by two dipping sauces, which I thought was as nicetouch. My wife does not do heat of any kind and so she opted for the Philly Cheese Steak. Plenty of juicy steak filling wsauteed onions and provolone (sauteed peppers and Cheese Whiz are also available) on a toasted roll accompanied by chips and apickle. Prices were reasonable. Service was quick, pleasant and thorough. We had a very enjoyable dinner and will certainlycome back. If you're into Food Challenges they have a huge sandwich challenge here... The Pickett's Charge. If you're a Uberhot wing head they have a sauce you have to sign a waiver for. Good food, good beer menu, good service w reasonable prices getsa good recommendation from me. Read more
