I thought this place was closed? Still says it opens at 4pm today. Wouldn't think this place could get worse though, but hold my... beer, the new ownership group has a mediocre/negative track record... and the apparently famous garlic bread was alwaysterrible, soaked in flavorless butter and no seasoning. They must be having employee shortage problems as we waited and waited for a table even though we could see many that were open.... Then we waited and waited for our drinks as there was no bartender on duty. I think one of the cooks kept running out andpouring what he could to help out. Then we ordered and guess what? MORE waiting. Food was just so so. Nothing to write homeabout. We had spaghetti and lasagna. Very middle of the road. Probably won't be back. Read more

Thank you for keeping these family recipes alive from your first location in Milwaukee since 1954!! We?re so fortunate to have... your famous garlic bread, pizza, salad and lasagna right here in our own back yard. Food and service was amazing. And thatmargarita was beyond. Soooo good!! Cheers to a great place, great people and a great legacy. Read more

Have had their pizza and garlic bread a number of times. Just amazing taste and always incredible service and food. The people... complaining don't know what they are talking about. No frozen pizza can compare. Read more

Never disappoints! Have both dined in and carried out. LOVE the garlic buttery bread, pizza and have Gluten-free options too! It... gets a bit loud inside but otherwise service has always been spot on too. Thank you! Read more

The one star is only because the server was friendly. Other than that, our visit was very disappointing. Mama Mia's was referred... by numerous of my coworkers and my husbands coworkers. We feel like maybe they don't really know what good food is. The garlicbread was not even close to what we were told we could get: no dripping butter, no garlic flavor and it tasted like the grillneeded to be cleaned. The pizza was bland, the edges burnt but the crust not crispy enough to eat with our hands but somehow too"tough" to cut with a fork and knife. We were hungry so ate enough to have something in our stomachs before we went groceryshopping. I decided to skip the crust and just try the toppings. I've never had pepperoni that had no flavor...what the?!? We'vehad better frozen pizza from bars and a heck of a lot cheaper as we paid $23 for the pizza. The server apologized but of courseits not his fault. He offered desserts on the house but we declined as we didnt want more disappointment. Wish we had read thereviews before going. Read more

Love the new location! So much more space. Our server was McKenna and she was great! The garlic bread is the best!
