Just wow...the food here was seriously phenomenal. The hummus was so incredibly light and the falafels would melt in your mouth.... I?ve gone to places with tough falafels so I give this place credit. The sultan combo was plenty of food for us and it wasrelatively healthy and the majority was vegetarian friendly. The staff was incredibly nice and hospitable. They put a spin on asweet tea that we particularly liked as well. The owner?s father literally bottles their olive oil in Jerusalem and sends itover fresh to the restaurant. We?d return in a heartbeat. *Edit- It?s been over a year since I?ve been here and I still dreamabout returning. I just finished my dinner. Service was okay, prompt and polite. However tonight's dinner disappointing, lamb was over done and... the portion lacking, very small pieces of lamb. The best tea in Memphis is not served at this location. Casablanca's bestlocation in my opinion is on Poplar Ave, lamb there was served to perfection and the tea was outstanding. The food was great. We got the super sandwich, stuffed grape leaves and some fries. The food was not long to come out and... everything was hot and tasty. The fries were lightly seasoned and the sauces provided made the option to get ketchup pointless.I love the spicy jalapeno sauce. It's just hot enough without being too hot. Highly recommended!! Some real good casual Mediterranean food. You should definitely check out Casablanca, the menu has a lot to offer. The meze... platters are really good, and I enjoyed the hummus. The moussaka was also very heartwarming, and the Shawarma platter was prettygood too. They also advertise that they have the best tea in Memphis, and they are not wrong! Read more
We went for dinner! First it was hard to find it even though it was on the road because of the very low lighting! Keep your eyes... wide open! Parking is free in the back lot of the restaurant. We ordered falafel platter and eggplant parmigiana sandwich.Everything was good but the presentation was not so good. Falafel did not taste fresh but it was tasty! Read more
