Absolutely excellent jambalaya (had the seafood variety). Also tasted the seafood gumbo and thought that was great too - spicy... but not too spicy and a ton of flavor. The portion sizes will not disappoint for the price. My gripes were with the empanadaswhich seemed uninteresting and slightly overpriced in comparison. The sampler platter appetizer also seemed expensive, but I gotto try some of Gumbo Ya Ya?s fried chicken which was superb - light, crispy breading served piping hot. Overall I would highlyrecommend checking out this establishment for their specialty jambalaya or gumbo. Read more

The aroma drifts from the kitchen and lightly clings to your clothes. I met one of the owners, and he was kind and engaging. The... servers are friendly and charismatic. I tried the catfish and it was moist and not overpowered by the cajun spices. Come try it! Read more

Great lunch experience. Their po boy is really quite good, the fries are seasoned nicely, and the wait service was great. Kid... friendly to boot. :) Read more
