First up Calvin was a outstanding waiter. Food prices were slightly overpriced but not outrageous. They start you off with their... hush puppies which were amazing. They remind me of my grandmother's hot water cornbread. The gumbo was a miss for us but itwasn't bad. For the restaurant's name to be called Catfish Parlour the Catfish was the most disappointing out of all the food.Small pieces of Catfish which were the product of cutting a filet into 3 pieces. Would have been much better with cutting thefilet into 2 pieces. The fried oysters were crispy and delicious. Fries were absolutely incredible. OMG! We LOVE this place! We go there for the All you can eat buffet lunch; popcorn shrimp, Catfish, hush puppies, french fries,... and equally fabulous sides; black-eyed peas, coleslaw, corn, cabbage, etc. The catfish and shrimp are very lightly breaded andperfectly freshly fried. They have tartar sauce or jalapeño tartar sauce (my favorite) and cocktail sauce. The servers areawesome and so very attentive!!! Read more
