First visit since opening in Pawleys very disappointed. Ordered the calamari appetizer nothing like it was in Georgetown... location not fresh but seem frozen box rings no taste and no oil just over powering hot peppers. Wife ordered grouper salad Iordered oyster cesar salad as this was lunch, waitress came back to say no oysters so substituted shrimp instead. When they camethe grouper look like a tiny piece of box frozen whatever and the shrimp over breaded frozen box shrimp from wherever not freshlocal! This is our second time coming here, and let me tell you it?s the best authentic Italian food around. Service is excellent. Chef... Eddie is the best!! The piano was such a lovely touch. We had a large party and the poor waitress had no help. The food was very bland and cold. The kitchen needed help on all levels.... Some dishes were done 20 min before others. Piano player very loud for such a small space. Italian food and waited 45 min forparm cheese , salt& pepper. I definitely wouldn?t go back. Read more

I went to Tuscany Bistro for the first time today. I went there because the menu I saw online peeked my interest. Come to find... out when I get there, that is the old menu? first red flag. I then ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavlo and the Penne Alla Pezza. Bothof which were super bland and the shrimp was super chewy. The fra diavlo sauce just tasted liked canned sauce and had no spicytaste at all. The vodka sauce to the penne barely came through at all. The waitress we had never introduced her self and justhovered over us while we were looking at the menu. When I asked questions she seemed to have an attitude maybe a long day orwhatever the case may be but still. The only assistance we got for drinks or cleaning off the table was from other people sheonly took our order. We waited 15 minutes for her to take our check and she walked away multiple times not looking busy. I can?tsay I will be returning any time soon with the first experience. Read more

We dined at the restaurant for the first time. It was bright and pleasant. The food was excellent. The service was mediocre. ... The waitress did not introduce herself and did not attempt to interact with us. She was very unemotional. We waited at least30 minutes at one point with no interaction as we waited for our meals or a second drink. She said several times that they werebacked up but she did not seem to be busy. Maybe she was inexperienced. Maybe some better training is required. The pianistin the bar area was very accomplished but in our opinion too loud for the restaurant. Can't even begin to tell you how great the waitresses and staff here are. Very polite and efficient, but also took the time out... to entertain a whiny baby and my two year old wrecking ball of a son. The food was very good too. Very large portions (I rarelyleave a plate with food on it.. and I did this time.) I would be here every week if I lived down that way, but I know my parentsare going to be there frequently.
