Just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the Cellar and the food was amazing. The steak was to die for, so tender and... flavourful! We also had the Harvester Salad and the Agnolotti which were just as delicious as the steak! The ambience is warmand cozy. Chef Dallas and hostess Melissa were very attentive and friendly. Just went in today with my husband for our anniversary. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and incredible service- when they... found out it was our anniversary, brought us a cheesecake on the house. We have been trying to stay local and support businessesin Georgetown- we are so glad we do - this helps incredible places like the Cellar continue to exist. Highly recommend! Read more

Came here as a family and we loved the experience. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. One of our steaks was a... little undercooked to our liking. The host took it back and returned it perfect with a fresh new side of fries. We?ll definitelybe coming back. Read more
Was definitely looking forward to an upscale meal and a great romantic date night but while the food was pretty good sadly this... wasn't a romantic evening. Although sectioned well, the atmosphere was less than intimate. A gentleman was playing an electricguitar to a sound track. He was good but in a very small place with 10 to 12ish tables, it was too loud. People were talkingover the music & we could barely hear each other speak. After a long work week, I was extremely disappointed at how the chatterescalated. Dinner: A caesar salad starter presented well and tasted very good. A table close by ordered 2 seafood platters. Theywere 2 tables away but it was very pungent???? After the starter, we both ordered steak. One tenderloin medium ,one striploinmedium rare. The chef got it backward and both were under seasoned. We had to send them back after already waiting 1 hour .Disappointing. Take 2. The refire on the steaks were very good ,seasoned well and we enjoyed our meals with correcttemperatures! Now for dessert. My go to is Creme Brulee. I've had this dessert in many restaurants. This version was hands downthe best creme brulee I've had in a very long time. Overall disappointing and not worth the price. Steak sauce was way too salty and accompanying vegetables were pathetic. Gnocchi... was served in a tomato sauce mixed with bitter vegetables that completely overpowered the subtle taste of the Gnocchi. The'Caesar' salad had radicchio and kale in it making it so bitter - don't call it a Caesar salad if it's not. The 'chef' clearlyneeds some training on how to combine foods and their flavors. The atmosphere - the heating vents along the ceiling werecovered in a thick layer of dust which may be an indication of cleanliness elsewhere. The only good thing about eating here wasthe service.
