What a lovely place for a sweet treat and coffee. We walked from Prairie State and thoroughly enjoyed a mocha and Americano as... well as a delicious warm brownie. Great atmosphere with plenty of seating indoor and out. Bring a book to read or your laptopfor working remotely in a change of scenery. Or just go there for dessert after a lunch or brunch. They went to Cornerstone school and there coffee was amazing. So I drove to there shop and I am so happy I found this Gem. The... banana bread is the best bread I have ever tasted. OpenDoor Coffee is my absolute favorite coffee shop. Today Jeremy made my favorite drink (the iced LalaLavander) even though... they had already closed and gotten into their car. It really made my night, as we had just gotten bad news from the doctor. Thissummer, my sister and I stopped at their food truck every Thursday during the Dekalb farmer's market for an iced LalaLavendercoffee and free popsicles for the kids. The staff at OpenDoor Coffee is always extremely kind. They happily accommodate both myallergies and my childrens' disabilities, and it means so much to me. They have genuinely changed my life because I can take mykids with me knowing that they will ALWAYS be both safe and welcome there. Read more
