It was a bad night for the Atlas Chicken Shack last night! From how difficult it was to order down to the individual reviews of... all four of us who ate at this place, somewhere we will never go to again. The young lady in the window seemed to have no ideahow the small menu read on the outside. It was far more difficult than necessary to order a meal! Good luck trying to ordersomething "In a Bowl"!!! The two trash cans were overflowing with garbage, but the two boys we had with us really wanted to trythe chicken wings, so we ordered and sat away from them. Unfortunately, that did not keep the flies away. We ordered and satdown at a picnic table not far from the pickup window. We waited approximately 20-30 minutes for our food. They are supposed totext you when your food is ready, but I guess they got the number wrong. They could have easily opened the window and called ourname, but they opted not to do that. When we did get the food, everyone was hungry and eager to eat. However, it quickly becameobvious that no one liked their food. In addition to being a bit cold, the wings had very little flavor and "the bowl" was"blah". The four of us decided after some conversation that The Atlas Chicken Shack was a flop, poorly run, and not worth thecost. It's a stain on the incredible reputation of the great little shops and dining locations that Geneva has to offer. We camein with open minds and left in disappointment. I forgot how much I love this place... The fried chicken is so tender and juicy. super flavorful. We got a biscuit for our... daughter and it was also amazing, very light and fluffy. Basically everything we got was amazing. Only issue was the seatingarea, the picnic table we sat at had some water draining under it from the other restaurant, so it was super muddy and buggy. (I forgot to take pics of the delicious food) This ?alley? restaurant delivers. We ate every chicken (fried, grilled, chicken... finger, chicken salad, chicken sandwiches), which was delicious. The cool thing is you can get drops from the Reservationrestaurant bar in the back alley that always has live music. Let me summarize. The chicken is fantastic! Read more
Sizes sizes sizes.. I guess getting your value for your money at Atlas went the way of the bird! We?ve been going to Atlas back... in the original days of the huge pieces of chicken tenders. After about a year of those they got smaller, but would give you anextra piece or two per 4 piece to make up for it. Tonight was just a joke of sizes. The chicken is the size of my finger and nomore extra pieces. Also they went extremely small on their Rice and Beans side. I mean what can be cheaper than Rice and Beansand they?re even cutting the size drastically on that? We are so upset because the flavor is still so good, but with the currentinflation rate, it?ll be a hard decision to go back based on the size of the meals they give out now. Read more
Got the Brussels and jicama bowl w grilled chicken and honey mustard, it was soooooo good and healthy for under $10! Will go... back for sure. Lots of outdoor seating available. Friendly staff. Read more
Only outside seating available so we noticed someone eating a bowl of vegetables , I asked him kindly which bowl he was eating... he said the Brussels sprouts, cabbage & jicama and that?s what we ordered with d chipotle flavor sauce. It was Delicious it surewas. restaurant next door was closed we sat on their outdoor seating. Most definite will come back and try their other fooditems. the bowl was really yummy good ???? Read more
Outstanding chicken. From smell to crust to the tenderness and taste of the chicken is just outstanding! Even the sauces were... impeccable. Unique homey sauces that pairs excellent with the chicken. Definitely gonna be a frequent customer here! It's thatfinger licking good! Read more
The tenders were really small. More like chicken fries. The slaw and the rice balls didn't have much flavor. The fries were ok... but not crispy. I feel that for the size of the tenders a side should be included. It wasn't terrible though. Read more
