It was amazing! Wait time wasn't long. Wait staff was very nice. Quick service. I ordered the panko crusted whitefish with pilaf... rice and mixed veggies. My fish was cooked to perfection. It was crispy and flakey on the inside. I'll be back the next time I'mup North. Read more

This place is highly recommended by the locals in Gaylord. A great place with very quick service. I recommend the Buffalo burger... and the pulled pork nachos. You can?t go wrong with a full order of their ribs. Lots of parking and easy to get to in downtownGaylord. Read more
I have loved the Alpine for years. Their burger has been something I looked forward to on my trips up north. BUT?.this last trip... will keep me from returning. For starters, the hostess was very unprofessional and he took about 15 mins to seat us afterrunning around to update his chart. There were 5 tables of people in the whole restaurant?.To add to this, our Buffalo chickendip was inedible. The components were 100% separated and it tasted like rotten cheese. The presentation used to be outstanding,but this time they served us a small cup straight out of the microwave that smelled rancid. My amazing burger that I long forevery trip up, was now the size of a kids burger. Normally I would eat half and take half. This one was so small, and NOT worth$15. This was very disappointing. This place is awesome! There was an excellent atmosphere that was obvious immediate upon walking in. It is welcoming and fun,... and the music was fantastic. The staff was also extremely friendly. The food was also excellent. My group ordered across themenu (salads, sandwiches, and soup) and everything was fantastic! This place also had the BEST white chicken chili I have EVERhad. I only give them 2 stars because my boyfriend said ?Wonton Tacos are amazing!? So he was happy with his meal. Also, the French... Onion soup didn?t look good, not a traditional way to put it, but it actually was pretty tasty and had good flavor. I howeverwas not happy with my meal? I got Mac & Cheese with brisket. I was expecting nice chunks of brisket? instead I got a few endshaved pieces. $19 for that. Rubbery tasting. Gross. The Mac & cheese itself, was cold as ice and also was bland. Absolutely noflavor. If my server was attentive she would have checked to see I wasn?t happy. Not once did she check on us. We waitedprobably 6-7 mins before she even got our drink orders. I?m a server myself so I understand when it?s busy, but at the time wewent it wasn?t. When she got more tables she was very attentive to them though? This was our first time trying this placealso.
