We almost skipped this place because of the reviews. After going I feel some of them might be a bit harsh and unfair. Service... was fast, food was good. They do add tip to bill so just know that going in. I have Zero issues tipping. They also have to addthe tax and they had no problem clarifying the bill. Prices are fair. One review said you had to order everything separately andthat's so wrong. They do have combo meals.. just need to read menu.... ??????? The waitress was fast and maybe not as overlyfriendly as some but she wasn't rude at all. Sometimes I think people forget how hard running a restaurant can be, long hours, short staff, and rude people. I was happy to find a less busy place to go for dinner and will come back. Read more

About the same experience as others. Was hungry, so we stopped. Party of 7 sat immediately. Was pretty fairly priced, especially... considering location. (~$12/plate) Food was okay, but definitely not the best Chinese I've had. I probably won't go back, simplybecause I'd want to try something else next time I'm there. Read more

This was an okay place, something to get you full. In a tourist area like downtown Gatlinburg the price of food is relatively... reasonable in comparison to other places along the strip (I guess). I had the sesame chicken & rice with 2 egg rolls. I had torequest for sweet and sour sauce because it originally comes with duck sauce. It was average, not the best but also not theworst. It was quiet during a lunchtime period so seating was nice and there were clean bathrooms. For 3 people, a total of $60was spent and & a little over $8 was charged for gratuity. Of course, I do not mind but the receipt is in another language so ifyou are not familiar with that language you?d have to ask. I honestly would not attend again but it was not a horrificexperience. I'm visiting from Atlanta. Me and my family ordered from here Saturday 7/16/2022. We placed our order and sat at tables to wait... because it was hot outside and we've been walking the strip. Not one time did they say it wasn't ok, they just started speakingin their language looking at everyone. That's when we noticed we wernt wanted so most of my family left. The food was not up topar at all. The chicken and fries are 4 small nuggets covered in 3inches of batter. Not worth$7. I had sesame chicken with friedrice and egg roll. Sesame chicken is a hard breast fillet sliced with tons of sauce and the rice had two hard broccoli florets, not worth $15. Only good thing on my plate was the egg roll that came on the side. Also, the health food score isn't displayedwere customers can see. I definitely wouldn't recommend for any reason. Not even starvation. Read more

The orange chicken and oolong tea were pretty good! Only downside is it is pricey but worth it! Also they aren?t combo meals... meaning you have to order everything separate and then from there distribute the food out to everyone. The server was a bit rudebut the food was the best part! Read more

This evening I once again ate at a once great Chinese restaurant in Gatlinburg, TN. When we arrived the waitress was asleep in... the dining area. We were immediately sitter in an area and asked what we would like to drink and eat by a very rude waitress. This waitress continued this rudeness throughout dinner for our family. The tea was spoiled and sent back, she did not likethis and continued her rudeness to us. It was worse than being at a Dick?s restaurant for sure! When we left to pay, I askedto speak with her about it and she made sure that she would not allow me that respect and walked away. Do yourself and yourfamily some good and DO NOT eat here. Allow yourself other places to eat in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!! Read more

North China was an amazing experience in a chilly February adventure. The staff is attentive and even assisted in boxing our... food up. We started with some amazing won ton soup, which was brought in two bowls even though we only ordered one. Thankyou! I had the North China curry with beef and shrimp and assorted vegetables in a green Thai curry sauce. The flavor was spoton and served with fried rice. My partner had the shrimp with broccoli they was so well cooked and served in an oval plate withsome of the broth served with it that was fragrant and great mixed with the fried rice served with the dish. Amidst a number ofmediocre American food places, this cozy restaurant with authentic flavors and portion size to take a bit home was perfect forthe occasion. Read more

After being in the business for close to 50 years it is understandable that people gets tired so I can't blame them if they are... tired of doing the same thing over and over again but there's no question they need to improve in how they communicate toothers. Yes there was a bad vibe and yes the place looks old but that's what happens when the magic is gone... I can't say thatfor the food because we absolutely loved it. Best egg drop soup I've ever had along with the fried rice and not to mention thenoodles! Be aware, you might not like how you get treated but for us, we loved the food and we would come back despite beingrude ???? Read more
