The cone i took was dipped in cotton candy! OMG its to die for but their mix was badly mix i think. I ate all the dip and top of... my cone my dog had the rest. No complaint from either of us. Great stop for treats on our way back to Ottawa after visiting Gatineau Quebec for the day. Located just minutes from the... bridge to Ottawa. They welcomed us in French but switched to English for us quickly. Food was perfect too! Read more

I live a 2 minute walk from this Dairy Queen location, at 7:50 10 minutes prior to curfew my husband and 2 kids decided to go... for a Dairy Queen dessert. We hopped in the car and drove over as to beat the curfew, however there was a line. We waited inline for SEVERAL minutes, the 5 people ahead of us were served without issue. However when we got to the window @ exactly 8pm onthe dot, we were told that they couldn?t serve us because ?we were supposed to be home.? There were at least seven peopleworking behind the counter, are you to tell me not ONE person could have came out and told us not to wait, as we wouldn?t beable to be served ? Alright, if there is some type of issue with serving your line up passed 8pm, that?s fine. But don?t make mewait several minutes, serve everyone in-front of me to tell me ?I should be home? Do people not recognize that ?mandates? areNOT law !? Which means they CANNOT be enforced as such, therefor serving someone at exactly 8pm who had already waited in line,will cost you $0 and gain you 4 customers for the entirety of the season. You as business owners have more rights than youthink, do your research and learn about your charter of rights and freedoms as well as your bill of rights, which says you?reallowed by law to operate your business passed a ?mandated? curfew. If anything, you can finish serving your existing line, andif not.. have one of your several employees come out and say so. I?m going to have to drive bk home anyways, might as well serveme my order. Not like I showed up at 8pm, I had already waited. Please use your resources better. Read more

Even if we were there the last 10 minutes before closing. The staff was welcoming, helpful patient and got us our treats... efficiently. I appreciate Dairy Queen more than ever during Covid 19. They make us feel good. I enjoy the cotton candy vanilladip icecream cones. And my daughter was very pleased with her warm chocolate cake and icecream treat. Very comforting. Read more
